Build an User Interface using Nextion Editor

Great beginner tutorial on the Nextion Editor! Thank you so much. I assume you are using editor version 0.47 which is the latest at this time. Files created with the older versions are not always compatible; this can make it difficult to follow some other tutorials. Here are some quirks I found in version 0.47: 1) To edit text in the Attribute box you have to double click, it is not enough to just highlight the text to be edited. 2) After Generating a font you are asked: "Add Font to List?". You click on the box and nothing happens. You have to close the Font Generator for the new font to show up in your list of fonts. 3) The "User Code" does not seem to adhere to common C language syntax. For example: adding spaces to a formula to make it more readable causes compile errors. Ending a statement with a semi-colon also causes an error. I confess that I have not read the manual yet. You know how it is, anxious to get started etc. I really love the Nextion displays. The potential is unlimited and it is well worth the effort to learn to use them.

Actually I want to scheduling in between the lights like if we are giving the timing like from 01:00:00 to 02:00:00. Its means in between this timing light should be turn ON and after that or before that should be OFF. The one which you sent there we are giving only time for how much time we want. But i want like for Monday to friday timing should be 9am to 3pm or on saturday sunday has to be off for all lights. We are using Arduino UNO to control all these things. I am new to this thing so I don't know how to start. Please help. And also i wanted to SET , CLEAR , Timing schedule format, How can i design this process?

I pressed the dim button couple of times and I guess the dim value went to 0 cuz the screen went black. I rebooted it but the screen stayed black. I just wrote ''dims=80'' in the user code of the background by selecting the background in the editor. So when you power the screen back on, it default the brightness to this value. Anyways thanks for the vid

I put dims=dims-10 and it gave me Error: Invalid command : dims=dims-10, same with dims=dims+10. Any thoughts on what could be happening... I am using V1.65.1

You forgot the most important part. How to add code to get the temperature and humidity. Where does that code go.

Hey mate I have a question, do you know if I can control what happens on the display using external physical buttons ? Like if I have a ''next page'' button instead of pressing it by touching the screen, can I ''press'' it by pressing an actual external button ?

Please don't waggle the cursor around so much. It gets lost in amongst everything. Also please slow down so notes can be taken. You are trying to deliver information and action on video so users do not have the written word to aid them. That said thank you.
