Absolutely! It really all comes down to what YOU need. You see we had a unique situation where we needed something fairly thin so we could attach it to our railing

If your plants die off quickly, you might want to exclude the glue and use screws or nails.

Why don’t you make the bottom board a bit longer so that you could put screws outside of the planter box. That will be easy for you to remove it if you no longer want it to be there. Anyway very nice job. Thank you. I will make one for myself

If you don't have a nail gun, what kind of nails are recommended? and are pilot holes needed to prevent the wood from splitting? We are using cedar pickets.

Hi Joseph! Thanks for checking out the video and reaching out! If you don’t have a nail gun, you truthfully don’t need nails. Just keep the boards clamped up while the glue dries. If you do want that extra reinforcement, I’d suggest actually using some #6 screws around 1 1/4” long. Make sure to predrill!
