Build With Me! I'm currently studying cloud computing and for my class's fourth week our textbook told us to research how to host a static website, and that frustrated me. I thought to myself "why should i have to go anywhere other than this book to do what this book is asking me to do?! These textbooks have the nerve to teach us enough then send us out into the wild to fend for ourselves!" My honesty aside, Lucy is clearly the help my textbook told me to find. I randomly found you a few months ago and now my sights are set on the AWS Solutions Architect Associate role, so here is where my journey begins. Thank you for your guidance. I know leaning into the discomfort of learning something new, testing knowledge, teasing comprehension, and enduring will yield explanations for deeper meanings of life. Learning more about the cloud and computers, in general, has helped me obtain a bird's eye view of what it takes to build something so great that everybody can, will, and wants to use to improve their quality of life. I didn't feel right keeping this all to myself, so I decided to share!

For those asking how to make the website secure with HTTPS, here are the steps: ⬇ To secure the website, you'll need to obtain an SSL/TLS certificate and enable SSL/TLS for your domain in Route 53. 1. Obtain an SSL/TLS certificate: You can use AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) to request and manage SSL/TLS certificates for your domains. ACM provides free certificates that are validated using domain validation, which means you'll need to prove that you own the domain before the certificate is issued. 2. Enable SSL/TLS for your domain: Once you have your SSL/TLS certificate, you'll need to enable SSL/TLS for your domain in Route 53. You can do this by creating a new HTTPS record set in the Route 53 console and selecting your SSL/TLS certificate from the dropdown menu. 3. Configure your S3 bucket: Next, you'll need to update your S3 bucket policy to allow traffic over HTTPS.

It is a good initiative for improving hands on....I request you for a weekly simple projects like these since you are a full time career youtuber now and you can create a separate playlist of these AWS projects for easy reference of your channel viewers. It will surely help you have a wider reach and gain subscribers as well as add value to the subscribers. You can post more complex projects bi weekly or monthly. Just a suggestion KZbin is filled with these simple AWS projects and to stand out and provide something different than what is already available you may have to put in some research and bring some unique projects. We (community ) will always support you... Go ahead.

I feel like videos regarding AWS or just hosting a website is very convoluted (From beginner POV) because usually video assumes user has foundation and needs no explanations. ELI5 type Videos like these are actually better than AWS/Microsoft FAQs LOL and are most helpful to beginner viewers.
