Firstly I have to say that this video series is something amazing and easily the best one there is. And it is getting more and more interesting all the time. One thing, if you do this process of tagging again, don't put the needle of the tagging gun in the pond water after you sterilized it, you basically sterilized the needle and then put the bacteria from the pond water back in it and directly in the fishes bloodstream. Good luck and great content I really appreciate it for a few years, since you starting building your house small pond 🤙

Yeah at best it prevents spreading infection from fish to fish.

I would use the iso and basically give it a shake off, maybe let it evaporate a bit. I'd also probably use a bit of oily antibiotic cream on the entry point.

Years ago a friend had a piranha, he used to feed it wild killies. He’d add about 9-10 at one time. Many of them were able to survive several days in the tank. There was places of cover they could hide in. One or two managed to last a few weeks before being eaten.

I got a crazy story about crawdads. My grandparents used to have a house in the country with an inground pool. About 150 yards away and 30 feet down was a cattle pond. Every year for a couple weeks we'd get crawdads about an inch or two long in our pool. So they can definitely smell water and instinctively travel uphill to find it

Was it after a rain that overflowed the pool? Here in Australia they move between ponds during rains and work their way up the little streams linking the two

I was out fishing today here in Michigan! I caught a decent size largie maybe 2.5 lb today. I was amazed by the color pattern of it though! Very dark with those same specks of blue green on it! Never seen that before & then I come home watch this video and your bass have the same blue green marks on it! Learn something new everyday i guess. 😂

May I suggest Millard and Livingston. Millard was a Grouper I had. Someone had him in a tank with a rusty frame. He was parallelized on his left side and swam sideways. He doubled in side and had a good life with us. Livingston was a string of Lion fish i had for many years. Thanks.
