That looks super! The rocks are a nice touch. Can't wait to see Part 2. Who needs shovels when you have your dog to help you dig!

Looks like you had some wonderful help! Your nephew, Tucker, is adorable! Your new fire pit area will be the perfect spot for special gatherings with family and friends! Hope Buddy will let you share his hammock so you can get a little rest when your project is completed! You guys have a great weekend! God bless!!

It's looking great! You did a very nice job with the arrangement of the rocks. It bugs me when I see rocks by a pool or something and the placement looks unnatural. I love seeing Buddy in your videos! He's so cute and so was his friend! Can't wait to see the next video!

I know what you mean about working with natural stone. How there's a way they just fall together that just "seems right". I did new mulch beds this year. I was having a terrible time with runoff washing out my mulch. I decided to bring in native boulders and flagstone to construct natural looking dry riverbeds to tame and direct the flow of water to curb my mulch loss. The first hime l layed it all out, with vey little thought, it looked and worked PERFECTLY! So after a week or so l disassembled it all to put an underlayment and some "minor" redirecting of the runoff. Since then l have angled, dangled, turned, rolled, wedged, hedged, flipped, flopped, cussed, fussed etc, etc, etc..... 100,001 ways these same dadgum stones and l CAN NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME find the original combination of positions where everything just literally FELL into place the very first time, looked and worked PERFECTLY. This has been going on for a couple months now. 😆. My neighbors must think I'm insane.

Yeah, that shipped has probably sailed! Not to worry, you'll find a way to make it work and it will be better than the first time.

Hi Eric! Were you able to salvage the grapes for wine or something?

All that, and you still don't have a hammock to take a nap in yet. So sad.

Nice but isn’t this a little bit overkill. I’m using 6x6’s in 3’ of lazily poured concrete. If I don’t comment back then my hammock design didn’t work.

I do over build. I didn’t want to chance sagging over time. 🙂
