I really wish the communication equipment served a purpose and that different sensor arrays had their own functions.

I just decided to check it out again after a couple years because they released a dlc. There are decent sized updates a few times a year,but a lot of features are still underdeveloped or buggy.

Honestly when I was looking for a good space game to get into, I already had ED and was craving more, I turned to star citizen but immediately got turned off because of how much it seemed to cost to get into and the amount of feature creep the devs were having. I saw this game and got it and I don’t regret it whatsoever.

@@ozwilliamTLDR I've played ED quite a bit, and although I have enjoyed it at times, I find it difficult to recommend. It's not a very deep game.

How are you deleting blocks from both sides at the same time? Even with mirror mode on I have to manually delete both sides..

Mirror mode should be enough. Always worked for me.

how do you know all the shapes? like the rotations for it? I always struggle trying to find the right block/shape and then rotate it

Hours and hours of building... and I still struggle sometimes. That's being cut out in editing then. ;)

I'm awful at building, I really like ships to look worn and lived in but I struggle to get that look.

What did you build so far? Maybe I can help? I'm sure you already found the worn looking textures. You also could take a look at the stock models from Empyrion for inspiration like some wreckages and crashed ships.

I can't even get anything the fly after they "ReBaLaNcEd ThE TrUsTeRs" needing that many thrusters and such low armor just took the fun out of designing CV's.

Why would one waste so much time building a capital vessel that cant pvp? What's the point of a capital vessel if it cant hold up it's own.

@@fordman7479 Who said anything about a Borg cube ? Is that the only thing your imagination can think of when you think of a ship that can hold it's own? I just meant its a lot of time to spend on a project and not cover all your bases.
