Sounds amazing now, and the dual tips really help fill out the rear of the car better than the single 4" tip. Good looking welds too.

I just got a 135i with a full 3inch straight piped exhaust and catless downpipe. Guy has like a 4" tip and shit is way too loud. I'm glad you have this video up because I'm gonna be doing the same thing and buying a resonator like you did.

Infintely better. When you did the first vid of the straight pipe install I couldn't help shaking my head as you were doing it. Knew exactly that you'd get an unbearable sound at low revs with that diameter pipe. The sound just gets lost in there, bouncing around, screaming for some velocity.

Always go for the "quietest" resonator I can on a turbo. Getting up to 3" and beyond the truck catalogues often have a wide variety of options.

Do you think 3" is big enough for the n54? Most aftermarket options are 3.5". I'm trying to decide. 3" is much easier to find and cheaper. Any help would be appreciated.

I dont think theres an issue with 3 inch, especially if you are on stock turbos, and if you dont have a restrictive muffler.
