I absolutely love the shop and the build videos. The filming turned out great. If you hadn't mentioned it was a problem, we would never have known. Must be that magic editing. Another channel I watch used those same lights. They are great. Keep the shop videos coming. Looking forward to the finishing metal going up. Thanks for the great content. I've watched 50 seconds and... I might have commented it before but I'm saying it again: I really appreciate the fact that you went to the trouble of having musicians do a soundtrack for your channel and creating a unique musical identity to your videos which connects parts together. There are a lot bigger channels who do all sorts of fancy editing and yet never bother to take this step, and it's honestly baffling that it's SO rare! So good job and good job to the Semi-Supervillains, it sounds great.

As suggestions, before you get a lot of stuff in the shop, that you seal the floor. Will cut down on the dust, and make oil and dribble cleanup easier. As for the ceiling, consider foam insulation for the ceiling. Only problem with foam is that you will have to do a lot of masking and draping, as that foam stuff gets everywhere.

Your new work space is awesome but there is one thing that you might consider adding . When you are inside working on a new to you piece of equipment and you can't work on it outside because of the weather the inside is going to get filled with diesel fumes and other fumes (gas , propane, etc. ) you might want to install a large exhaust fan ( 1 or 2 ) so that way you don't have to open up the roll up doors and lose heat . Just an idea 💡.

Looks amazing! With the insulated walls and heated floor, that should be a really nice, warm space. When it comes time to install electrical outlets, figure out how many you THINK you will need and then add 35% to that number. I put in 14 outlets in my 28x30 garage and it wasn't enough. I had to add 6 more to eliminate extension cords.

Suggestion, I worked in an aircraft hangar that is about 10 times the size of your shop and I always found it hard to get enough light under the F-16's engine bays from the bottom. I made a few lights from explosion proof ( you might not need that, I had to comply with USAF regs) and put them on wheels with a bolt through the middle of the end so it can be tilted. If you use LED lights you can have great lights under equipment and the tilt capability will keep it out of the way. Looks great, looking forward to seeing the floor heater hooked up.

The UFO lights are great. I used a different brand of warehouse light but, boy, they can make light. One in my garage over where I put my table saw or other standing tool, poof, "light of the sun"! Makes marking, cutting and assembly easy. Expensive and I needed a separate circuit, but worth every penny. I can't remember how many lumens but it's way beyond any standard socket LED from the big box store. With white walls, it'll be great in your shop. Based on past experience, you'll still want portable lights for working under things but that's gravy.

you could use the spare outlets running down the centre of the workshop ceiling to hang a couple of retractable power outlets, then you won't have to have extension leads running across the floor

We had the same Allis forklift at my old job. Lots of memories hearing that thing run. We had to convert ours to propane to keep it running right.

Some basic ceiling fans down the center will help with heating the place a bunch, stop the hot air from pooling in the ceiling.

So are you going to bring in those tool boxes from the C Cans you purchased earlier? Can't wait for you to start filming what you love most and that is fixing. Remember you have to keep that new shop clean. Your videos bring much enjoyment along with the balanced humor.

Hi from the UK. I've been watching you for a long time and I'm really impressed with what you've done. I have a smaller workshop at home ( we call them man caves ) but its jam packed already. Good luck, keep going ! Nigel.

Buy an Oshkosh 3 phase Diesel Military Surplus Generator (fully Running 60KW) for the workshop, good enough to run most of your future equipment. preferably mounted on a Military tow vehicle.
