was wondering if your bandsaw blade was a carbide impregnated type or a steel type and a 1/4” or a 3/8”wide?-kerfmaster?

Lovely work. (Both the chair, and the videos.) At 3.36 is that a spark flying out of the bandsaw? What caused that?

its from the blade hitting the ceramic guides, it happens from time to time

Approximately how many board feet of Walnut did each chair require? Did you use 8/4 exclusively?

AlabamaWoodworker for those chairs I used about 25bdft per chair, yes I only used 8/4 for it

Thanks a lot for posting this series of videos, great to watch / learn from. I have a question re: the router bits used for the rebate in the seat and round over on the legs(maloof joint) : did you use matching dimensions, eg a 1/2 rabbeting bit and 1/2 round over, or 1/2 rabbeting and 3/4 round over?

Linton Doohan you use a 1/2” rabbit bit then a 3/4” round over
