Not so much of a fan of bigger lizards (prefer the smaller ones) but I’m loving that enclosure! I would dig out a deeper hole and mesh it up too for the plant as to make it less escapable but maybe you know more about it’s psychology than I do? Some animals only dig need the boundaries and give up if they cannot perceive where the barrier actually starts. Who knows? Looking forward to seeing what other legging you make and that lower platform was a stroke of genius!

I think it would be more secure if you went ahead and closed in that hole in the bottom. Since you are going to have so much substrate for it whatever you plant in it will grow through the wire. It is going to look great I'm sure.
