That is one of my favorite prop pieces I've seen! Love it!

A beautiful build! I agree taking the extra time to fix the 'o' was worth it. I really appreciate you sharing your thought processes throughout your builds - why you are using certain materials over others, trouble shooting issues you have run into with your past haunts, etc. Cheers!

Thank you, When it comes to the materials, it comes to cost and availability. Plus, i want to make it out of stuff that is available in most areas. So if someone wants to make it, they can see how i used it and what to expect.

I like the effect, but since I know how it's done doesn't have the same wonder as it did in Disney's Haunted Mansion. However all that decorative work and extras really are worth it, you are correct about that. Absolutely love the way this turned out!

Thank you, It's kind of knowing how a magic trick is done. Takes away from the effect.

I'm about half way through this video. I really like what you did on the top corners ( ok, I like it all, your doing great work) . I was thinking about the possibility of some one stepping on base & my suggestion would be create a faux rod iron gate ( keeps the monsters out & the dead in!) That'll stick out enough that the base can't be stepped on. I've seen pictures of a row of real mausoleums with rod iron gates blocking entrance. If I knew how to send the the picture of it, I would. Looks like Cleveland has quite a few.

Thank you, I like that idea. I will be doing that. Thank you for that suggestion.

Incredible!!! Do u have a vid on how u made the infinity mirror?

Yes. I made that a couple of months before this one, but It's on this same channel.

Love the design of your crypt. I'm assuming you used plexiglass or glass with mirrored window film for your infinity illusion? A two-way mirror that large would cost a fortune.
@Paulsprops-dc4mt Жыл бұрын
Thank you, Yes, the back is a real mirror to get the best reflection, and the front one is lexon, kind of the same as plexi with mirror tint on it.

How much was the supply cost of this build
@Paulsprops-dc4mt Жыл бұрын
It is hard to accurately say because i already had stuff like the paint, 2x4s, and screws. But i spent $120 for the foam board and $96 for a case of the PL300 caulking. If i had to get everything, I'd say close to 250. Not including the infinity box.

Do u do builds for people or have a written plan
@Paulsprops-dc4mt Жыл бұрын
No, this is a hobby for me, a stress relief. It fun for me. Sometimes, I'll sell my stuff after the season to make room for new stuff. I want to build for next season. I've tried doing the build for people, but it took the fun out of it for me.
