Storefronts are dwindling. Glad your able to grow yours. Just a lot of overhead costs in my area and cost of yearly lease is skyrocketing. I’ve mulled getting into automotive but not being proficient at programming I’m of the time is money mindset but taking too much time puts the customers costs too high. If your good at automotive programming you can make a lot of money in any area. It’s the number 1 call I get. I specialize in commercial residential lock/ keys/ hardware. Plus I weld security bars and anything else. Been plenty of times when the welding paid the bills all by itself. I’m operating out of a cargo van now (and upgrading to a vintage Stepvan) and I have multiple lock supply houses near me so I don’t spend much or carry much inventory. Thanks for sharing!🙏🏼✌🏼😎

As a business owner myself, the jump into a storefront is becoming harder, We have NONE in my county. I worked in the last opened one for 20 years, closed in 2016 owners retired it honestly is a money loser in our area! Hard to pay a person 8 Hrs. and rent while waiting to cut a key customer buys from Amazon. I wish you luck!
@UDROPRENEUR4 жыл бұрын
Yeah that must be hard, if you don’t have the foot traffic it’s hard to justify paying someone. Thanks for watching!

@@UDROPRENEUR Do you find specializing is more profitable than trying a little of EVERYTHING? I don't do any auto myself just bought 15K worth of auto stuff in December..I sold it all off-thanks to Amazon and coronavirus.No one wants to pay or only bring me the on line purchased keys ..you can't take your burgers into Mcdonalds and have them cook it for you! I specialize in safes& vaults never touching a car besides my own again.

@@hkssystemslocksafe2486 Oh I get you on the Amazon stuff, we decided to not fight with Amazon but to embrace it. We tell the customers sure you can bring your own we just have them pay more for programming and make them pay 50% down and if it doesn’t work we keep the 50%. Then flip them to our products lol

@@UDROPRENEUR I've heard others do that too,you know customers are always iffy at best..sounds like a recipe for negative feedback vengeance. Lol ill pass for the few $$ to be made
