These are the best videos I've seen for getting information about Montana living. There is a lot of useful information packed into this presentation.

This was a really good clip and I am thankful for the nice tour. They really did good. If you are still in contact with this guy, the owner of the house I have a great improvement suggestion to him. I also have water pipe floor heating. What he can do is to instal a thermal heat pump instead of that water heater. He already have a well for it. Run a hose down and up again, use alcohol as the liquid which is pumped down the well at around 32f and comes back around 36F, the pump has a heat exchanger, kind of like a reversed AC that will make warm water that is pumped out in the house floor pipes. A pump is about 5000 but is basically paid for in 3-5 years compared to using a lot more electric with the water heater. Note, it will also warm your hot water. My house in Sweden (as cold as Montana if not colder) gives me an annual electric bill between 800-1100 a year. That includes all electric, hot water and heating. Cheers

So happy your channel popped up on my feed! Great content. Perfect timing for us as we are moving to MT this spring. We are contemplating to build or buy and prefer 2 to 5 acres of property.

I like that you built a real and functional house and not one of the ridiculous giant McCabins alot of Californians come over here and build...nice job

Starlink has revolutionized rural wifi. Several neighbors have it here in Southern Oregon...they see similar speeds.

Nice video! Congrats on the build success. I hope there were no ER visits. :) And glad to hear the value is more than what was put in it but I have to wonder how much of that is related to having a friend in the business. I understand it's very difficult to find and schedule home builders and laborers in MT. And then supplies are crazy difficult to find as well. As long as you have time, money, and patience there's nothing to worry about.

Awesome - I like your content and this episode is just enjoyable. It seems to me, that your videos are more interesting, if the camera is not motionsless throughout. I'd be happy if you could do a video about TOP 5 spots to visit in Montana (Especially Hikes!, Places, etc.). Appreciate and please keep going :)

Beautiful house. Couple of questions if you don't mind, a) How reliable has starlink been, b) The wood siding (and so much wood in general), is it a lot of work to protect it from bugs and weather? Where I am, the bugs would chew that stuff down in no time. Thanks!

It used to be everyone’s goal to build their own home on paid off land.... Now it’s everyone’s goal to borrow money to buy a house ....then hope it gained equity and then borrow money against the house.
