Building a turbo 5 rotor Supercar; the MF5 Superlite
Join us as we craft this SLC Superlite, integrating a turbocharged 5 rotor engine with the unique Mazzei Formula twist. Drawing inspiration from the illustrious 1990s Group C prototype racers, like the iconic 24 hour winning 787b, our build features an innovative 5 rotor motor, promising a one of a king V10 Formula 1 like sound.

Love the video and explanation... To the guy filming it (I assume his name is Thomas) When he speaks about the things it's always good to record how you did, except it looked like you were afraid of using the joystick to move the camera up and down, for example he is talking about the front ventilation/duck on the front wheel and you're basically showing us the front light, instead going lil higher with the camera and tilt down to show the duct. It's also a good idea to do B rolls, so when he was talking about the vent you could afterwards make B-Roll shots of parts he was talking about and add it to the video. Just some feedback as it looks that you will have a bright future ahead filming cool shit :D Edit: Also I don't know what camera you use but you can delay the auto focus, at least I can do it on my Alpha 7 IV, so it doesn't constantly zoom in and out like crazy

You lost me when you didn't know what the lights were from. If you built this yourself and and spent ungodly hours tracking down parts you would know every bolt and washer. Seems like you paid someone else to build it and I'm out..

I don't want to come across as negative because the car is beautiful, but the cameraman is doing it entirely wrong. He is shooting into the light source, which makes seeing the details impossible. He should have the light behind him, just like in an interview. Also he seems really timid to get close up I was hoping when Dave was speaking about the canards etc he would get close up. or when he spoke about the turbo I wanted to see the fitment angle as Im a little worried about oiling at that extreme angle it's sitting at. But I can't be sure. . Sorry, but this was a big disappointment for me; I wanted to see lots of detail, and I can't. Looking forward to more videos and hoping you and the cameraman take this criticism constructively.

Beautiful car! Your going have alot air turbulence with the fender vents and the rear mirrors being so close to each other, you will not have clean air through there. 3d scan it and run it through CFD and you will see thats a problem (hot spot). The fender vents can be done at less angle and partially internal like half in half protruding also you can raise mirrors or move them, it will clean it up alot. That mirror placement will be important, with CFD you can play with it for a good sweet spot for clean airflow. You can see with most prototypes they move mirror behind front fender vents out of the way of that high pressure area.

With the greatest respect, genuinely, these videos are not doing justice to the incredible achievement that is this car. Arguably this applied to the formula 7 before it but it is really standing out as you slowly reveal this masterpiece. You're a really great presenter, the passion and knowledge and sheer drive is evident, I think you're up there with the very best. Your vision is outstanding, this is probably one of the most exciting ones out there, and it deserves to be showcased in the best light possible. But it's the aesthetic details that are lacking, from the uninformative camerawork to the fairly janky editing to this very thumbnail (basically unreadable, there's a bizarre set of question mars, it doesn't jump out, there's no consistent visual language between videos) is a noticeable cut below most of your KZbin comrades / competitors. Look at the masterful Stanceworks (an outrageously aesthetically pleasing and often one man operation) or the Skid Factory or (if you want to go high budget) Adam LZ, or even the incredibly charming Driftworks. Of course there's the GOAT Bad Obsession motorsports, but I'm not sure those lads are the same species. I've watched and enjoyed every one of your videos for years and will keep watching, I don't feel entitled to any more than what you produce, and being skilled at videos is way less impressive than being the thinking man's rotary God, but I just put this out there for your consideration.

Dave well done bro. This is a work of art. I know mad mike got to reveal his 5 rotar first...... But it isn't a mid mounted super car with a massive turbo like this. He's sponsored by Redbull and making packets more money and has full team of mechanics and technicians dedicated to work on his stuff..... They aren't specialists that are working on many other projects that are putting their skills and time aside to work on your car..... Like in your case; they are not working on anything else other than Mike's stuff. This what you are doing here is on another level. Everything about this build has come from you bro. You understand each and every component and how expected to work and what development and changes need to happen to meet your own expectations. Only see one possible flaw is your rear wing side drains. Towards the bottom of the drains you probably want to cut them back. Similar to airplane wing tip (aerofoils). You’ll get better functionality if done properly.
