Thank You! Two years ago I rebuilt the original engine from my 1974 Thing and your videos saved me from installing bad Chinese made parts-the vehicle runs perfectly, it had 64000 miles on it. I had purchased a " FOMUCKO" engine that was bad-I autopsied it and...well there was a lot wrong inside!!!

Hey Darren I. Just bought some total seal rings for my 2056 build I ported my head's and went with chromolly dual springs anyway wanted. To thank you for helping me last year with my motor I'm finally putting it all back together had to. Have my valve bosses cut down .I ordered new valve guides for them but can't thank you enough for building your motors on KZbin .I just might make a video of my engine assembly Russell . From psl FL

I just started binge watching your videos to get schooled up on high performance vw stuff which I know little about. I am building a 78.4 x 92 thickwall engine this winter, and this video comes in perfect timing!! Thanks for posting this one up!! I have an NOS 110 engle cam on an EP12 blank that I was going to use for my split bus with a straight axle. But the consensus on samba seems to lean to the Web 218 cam. What would your preference be in this engine with dual Weber IDF's? Thanks in advance! Your videos are a wealth of knowledge!!!

Those cases has problems with the oil pump holes lining up with the pump and the distributor drive was tight.

this is a A&A Rotataing assembly it is 78x94 ,it was $800 for crank flywheel rods PC bearings & gasket set ,i have assembled 11 of there kits with moderate compression and have good luck , ,EGZE turned me on to them a few years ago,
