Little rigs can be a nice surprise budget rig. It might need some tweaking, though. I believe the A380 is comparable to an Nvidia GTX 1650, and I just saw a vid of that card running Borderlands 2 at 1080p over 100fps.

yeah the card itself is more than capable of all the games in this video, but the older cpu is what let it down. Potentially issues with linux aswell, still cool to see

@@RememberThisTech My Biggest Problem is finding Cheap PCI-e cards for older systems. Older AMD Cards don't play well with Linux Drivers these days. My younger 2 ladies & I clean up "eWaste" and turn them into Retro Systems for local families that don't have much. Older 2gig Rx550 Cards go for $20 on Ebay, they Install Linux, but first Boot is Blinking Cursor and I can never get the Legacy drivers working. The Arc would defiantly not be for a give away system LOL

I highly recommend them on a budget, its what i got for similar reasons. Plus i wasn't sure if Arc would run UE4 editor which i'm currently using, so i didn't want to spend more on one of the better ones like the a770, and then not be able to run the things i wanted to run, so i got the cheapest Arc gpu that can still perform to some degree. I've been entirely surprised with what it can do. Its currently paired with a AMD 8600g, 32gig's DDR5 ram. If theres any games/software you want to see running on this card, let me know and i'll make a video/do a stream so you can see how it performs.

Currently Working with an AMD 5500g, I got 4 Fresh Stick of ram at a good price for a Total of 32Gig Matching with XMAPP (I dont remember,) More than Anything I need a Decent Graphics card for PCI Passthru, I want to make a ProxMox Server for my House & All Dads Nerdy Ideas. Oh and a Nice Set of Matching HDDs for a Nice Sized NAS. Ive got too Many older ones Running Power and Honestly, I've really given them a run for their money and worried they will crash soon enuff LOL

Hi Jason. Greetings from Brazil. I have a Dell Inspiron with an I3 4170 with 4gb ram. It is also compact like the HP 6300. I'm thinking about buying an I7 4790, 2 8gb ram and the A380. But I want to use it with Windows 10 or 11. I don't want to play big games in fhd or 4k. Maybe PUBG, Fortnite, Minecraft, in HD. Do you think this is possible?

@tomefrohlich3055 Hi there and welcome to the channel. First I'd check the Dell website for your model a d make sure it supports that 4790 cpu. I know you can run windows 10 on that pc but support for windows 10 ended. Windows 11 might be possible using Rufus and the workarounds but even so Microsoft is blocking some updates with those pcs with win 11 workarounds. You could give it a shot, but you may not get the full fps from this card and 10 or 11.
