Your supposed to adjust valve lash with the stud girdles loose then tighten them up last right?

Yes and then i like to go through and check again because that girdle can change the adjustment just a little

What brand rockers did you get for the offset?

We run just the gold crane

Another trick is to use normal offset roller rockers that you already have, then cut the steel pushrod guide plates down the middle north to south, then put the pushrods in place with the rocker studs finger tight, then set up the rockers for a perfect contact pointing anywhere between 7 o clock to 5 o clock, and the pushrod clear of contact to the heads, then nip the rocker studs, then lightly tack weld the guide plate in place and number it for that cyl, as they all differ, then remove them and weld together properly. Saved a lot of money that way.
