ABSOLTELY love the watercooling route and layout, you have done an amazing job ! This might be my dream PC with this amazing case, but i think i would have take the Trident RGB RAM instead because it's damn gorgeous with this tinted tempered glass panel. but how do you manage to close the reservoir ? it seems like there is no room for filing the loop and then close it.

Including everything else pictured in the build, could you add a 240 rad up top as well? I'm tossing up between this and the enthoo for 1080ti 7700k overclocked which will require more than a 360. enthoo definitely has more room but this is $100 cheaper and much prettier more airflow also

Yes but you will need a very small reservoir like the bitspower hexagon
@TsvetanVR
@TsvetanVR 5 жыл бұрын
Why three small SSDs and why not utilize the M.2 slots and extra PCI-E lanes? How did that single slim 360 rad do with cooling of both the cpu and gpu? Nice build. I wish they made a bigger version of that case, the size of the Define S I'm currently using or even a bit bigger as I love the design (better aesthetics and airflow) but I really need to fit more cooling inside.

GoldenLama LED shines through nicely
@dickr9345
@dickr9345 6 жыл бұрын
GoldenLama I have one and I think it's perfect with a little light inside. I have an Asrock z270 extreme4 and a cryorig h7 quad lumi, both are RGB so there's plenty of light to illuminate the inside. Also have 3 120mm blue led lights as intake. They don't do much for the inside, but they do look pretty slick through the metal "mesh" front panel. I bet LED strips would look great along the edge of the glass, too. I guess what I'm saying is with no lights it may be a bit dark, but even just motherboard RGBs or a couple light strips really make the tint look perfect. My only gripe is the limited radiator support. If it was just an inch or two longer - or taller - it would be perfect all around IMO. If they ever make something like a "meshify S" it will be an awesome addition to the fractal case line up.

When I first saw it I was thinking "damn, thats so dark! Can't see anything through it" then I looked at some builds and realised yes you can't see anything through it, until you add some lighting in there, then it perfectly shows through all the lit up components, highlighting them through the glass. It looks great so I bought one myself.

Are you doing a push or a pull with those front fans? I have a meshify C as well and would ideally want to put my radiator in the front. I'll have a 1070ti with very little clearance just like your 1080 Any objections to using the bottom fan?
@Skykingsound
@Skykingsound 6 жыл бұрын
In that configuration, it needs to be pull. I wouldn't push hot air from the case through the rad.

been looking for someone to make a build like this with the case using a 360 rad as well as triples ssds (nice build before i get to carried away) my main question is i would also like some hard drives in my build and was wondering about clearance for a full atx psu (the new corsair rmx 850w white version) plus using the fractal Celsius s36. would the psu cables be to pinched having the hard drive bracket in there? second and also not so important question how is the cable management for the ssds? thanks hope to here from you soon
@JRX6YT
@JRX6YT 7 жыл бұрын
There wouldn't be any room with a 360 rad+fan for the drive cage. You can only have a 25mm fan at the most bottom with the drive cage moved back a bit. That's with an atx psu as well. Max you can do is a 240mm rad up front and have drive cage as well
@n0ldgr769
@n0ldgr769 7 жыл бұрын
J R X you couldn't do a 280 with a cage either?
@JRX6YT
@JRX6YT 7 жыл бұрын
i'm pretty sure a 280 is fine but there would be no room for a fan at the bottom. You can do a 280 rad up front and still have the cage at the bottom. There's just limited space for a graphics card though. Something like a strix card would only let you have a single fan in front of it.
@n0ldgr769
@n0ldgr769 7 жыл бұрын
ive seen a build with an x62 being used with both fans was also thinking of using the 1080ti hybrid but still unsure about that
@jorgg1382
@jorgg1382 6 жыл бұрын
You can mount a single 3'5 drive to the bottom of the case, if it's enough for you. That would let room for the 360mm rad, while also giving you a bit more room for cable management (Via the removal of the hard drive cage)

Just MY Opinion, but water cooling a gpu + cpu on a 360 is not very optimal, yes it's ok for a non OC build, but for the pc parts you have you will OC and need at least x2 240 for decent cooling, and the fan mounts and the negative/positive air flow in this build is just wrong, has only negative, also if you plan going intake with the fans placing them like in the video you need to realize that they already have 1 rad that restricts air PLUS the meshify case, if you place the fans between the rad and the front mesh it has a lot more airflow proven by gamers nexus, and you would need 2 fans for exhaust in the top mounting brackets. PS: 1000W PSU is beyond Overkill a good 800-850W gold psu is more than enough, even for OC
