My favorite way to clean cloth junkyard seats, blast them with a pressure washer. Shop vac the bulk of the water out then sit them next to a dehumidifier or fan.

For shampooing car carpets seats etc, make sure to spray the solution on and let it sit for around 5 min then scrub then vacuum. It will help to lift more crud out of the carpet/fabric

This reminds me of pimping my ride with junkyard stuff, it was a Fiat Cinquecento 1100 that I "parked" in the canal at one point! But it had adjustable headlights, electric windows, cam from a 903/899, some interior pieces swapped, speaker front/rear/sub and a roof window!

Brake clean mixed with general purpose cleaner, some water and brush and shop vac. You'd be surprised what that can get out of the carpet and floormats.

4:55 it’s easy to use a drill with a brush attachment and whatever chemical you want to use to remove it then use the stain remover to suck up all the grime.

Junkyard scores are the best!!! Never know what you might find there. Since you mentioned that you’ll be restoring your civic, look at the Canadian Civic SiR for some inspiration. Vogue Silver is a factory color. Prep and paint your side skirts and door moldings. Budget SiR without the obvious details of an actual Si or SiR.

lol, I went to pick up an intake camshaft, and I left with the camshaft I needed and a like new set of NGK plug wires that were a perfect fit. $40 for the cam and $8 for the wireset.

try and find a recently wrecked civvie with some newer coils on it, maybe find a set of wheels and maybe fabricate a cold air intake out of some stuff you're able to pull together from the yard

Next time use a spray bottle with totally awesome degreaser from your 99 cents store and a good hamd brush. Spray some and brush the seats or carpet and then use the extractor 😊

I always thought junkyards are a sad place, where cars die. It is sad to see great cars inside, but every time you're inside the junkyard, you feel like u wanna hop around like in a grass field. Honestly if I would own a junkyard I'd set up a collection of cars slowly building them up EVEN if they won't be legally allowed to be back on the streets again

I know with certain configs, you can swap a passenger seat for the driver (swap seat pans or sometimes swap just the buckle). It would be awesome to see this in the driver seat kinda like a street/track car with only one bucket seat.
