Next time you are in walmart look in the craft section for the tiny magnets. You can put them on the screen instead of the velcro and its easy to open the screens when its not bug season.

have you ever thought of doing a half bed with slide out so you can sit in there during the day or in bad weather more comfortably? Also would give you an inside cooking space for when needed. WOW, William doesn't look like he would shed that much but I bet you have to VAC several times a day to protect your lungs. When are you going back to Alaska?

I used little magnets and cut a screen down that was meant for a patio door so it had the magnetic opening the center so I can still go in and out the magnets that were on the patio screen aren’t very strong tho but it still works lol it closes behind me😂. And I just magnetize it to the outside door frame

Perfection is the greatest enemy of progress. Impressed by the engineering of your head rest - sure it is rough, but it is functional and every new innovation is building foundations for cooler solutions. BTW, with all that dust, be mindful of checking your air filters more often w/ all the dusty conditions (engine and cabin). You don't necessarily have to change them for new, but shaking off the loose stuff doesn't hurt.

Looking good, one thing… don’t lay the diesel heater on its side. The issue with having it on its side is it will leak fuel out of the glow plug. Make sure you install it vertically 👍

Very nice spot! If you’re in to hot springs I recommend Pagosa Springs in Colorado. Tourists and non solitude …sure , but nice and plenty of Jeep adventures to be had on National Forest Land! Also, I can’t wait for you to catch fish ! Plenty of fishing there too.

I do a similar thing with the screen on my back window but use round window gasket and tuck it into the outside channel that goes around the window. At night I close the gate and secure the bottom to the gate with magnets. Its really the best thing ever to have the back open at night when you sleep and not worry about bugs. I like your velcro idea better as it seems more secure. I did see a Japanese video with a Land Rover Defender that had what looked like a very nice custom screen with a zipper. I wish someone made a proper screen for the back. It seems like something people would want. Love watching you and your adventures and so impressed by your skills.
@jus.me.tanzks58342 жыл бұрын
You could just use a bunch of little strong magnets and magnetize it to the outside of the door frame you can use black duck tape to tape the magnets to the screen so you don’t loose them I didn’t wanna stick Velcro inside cuz my Jeep has tan interior so I’d be able to see the pieces of Velcro always so I tried sticking the Velcro on the metal outside and it didn’t stick of course so I switched to magnets and I actually sewed a trim all the way around with the magnets inside of that but you could use duct tape as a trim cuz most people don’t have the machines to sew lol

you can find a pretty decent, if basic, sewing kit at Walmart. they have kits that are contained in their own zippable containers that are nice. not too expensive, either.

Hot showers to calm the nerves, cold showers for the hair only because split ends idk.
