To work around that ball and socket system on lights. Feed a lanyard around the light and pull on that. Less chance of damaging plastics and it pops off super easily.

About your corner lamp being dual filament .. I have an Altima SE from that era and it has cornering lamps where the bright side of the bulb lights up solid when the headlights are on and which ever side turn signal is on. I know that non-optioned or non-SE Altimas didnt have it.. fun story, i failed state inspection once because the inspector was not smart enough to know that wasnt a turn signal and it wasnt supposed to flash. I have had too many issues getting pulled over or inspection in VA so I just disabled that option. Anyway...it would be the same housing, so maybe your car had that option and your vehicle just isnt optioned with it.

I mean, I guess you're a big time car KZbinr now 😉 but you can save a bundle and get brushless, really good tools by going with the Skil 12V line. Whole line is brushless, more powerful than old 18/20V stuff, and they go on sale on Woot and Amazon regularly, for like under 100 for the drill and impact driver combo. (And impact driver has really good lighting)

Jake I have 2011 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR and have a similar leak. I asked at the dealership parts Dept about it and they said there is an O Ring by the oil filter housing that commonly fails.

I haven’t had a chance to look yet but that was my assumption as well. A new filter definitely did not fix it.
