Vs 4 tech rays: fang carry or at least double/triple tech (shields, range, rage). Enemy responds with mustang or similar anti-chaff? Vulcan with er or similar response punishes this. You have to catch it early. But can work as a 4 tech ray opponent won't be able to tech them up and level them adequately while still having enough on the ground to prevent something like Vulcan punishing their mustangs. The whole premise is: force them out of 1-shot invis comboing like they want to do and then shoot them to pieces. He would have been better off doing this or going emp farseer spam than going 4 tech wraith. The first lets his wraith do work sooner vs your rays and forces you into mustang sooner. The 2nd option gets more farseer on board and lets his 2/3 tech wraiths tank your rays while emp farseer kills them.

I think the crawler-pathing in the first game wasn't helpful after a while. It gave him late chaff you couldn't clear at that point anymore.
