Quick PSA: apparently the aftermarket MCX charging handles (i.e. Radian and Geissele) do not work (well) on a rattler. Search the forums and you'll see a lot of users report getting smacked in the face with them when used on a rattler because the stock rattler charging handle has two latches engaging the upper receiver whereas the aftermarkets only have one, and apparently the greater unlocking pressure and overall more violent unlocking cycle in the rattler causes single latch charging handles to disengage especially when using supersonics. Returned my radian after reading this and hearing the manufacturers did not recommend using their charging handles. But I hope a solution will come out soon so I can use a Radian on my rattler!

Daniel Defense Mark 18 upper with BCM lower, Girssle rail same grip as your rattler. Odin works Opressor, Odin works ambi. Holosun with 3x surefire light pressure pad. Oh yea and Maxim Defense stock. Ambi bolt catch as well. My sexy firearm. Love your Rattler.

Dear, I have a question about the collapsible stock on the black rattler, which has the two metal guide rods. Does your Stock also do wobble quite a bit if you extend it to the maximum position? I was curious if this issue is normal or if there is a way to fix it. But the collapsible stock with the two metal guide rods is not really comfortable, it's really cold to the face and a bit uncomfortable and you do feel every vibration. I wish there would be an option to install a thin cheek piece ://

Personally I think that mount is unnecessarily tall. EOTech holographic optics are very NOD friendly and sit significantly lower than that. I feel like having your optic that high, you're just asking for it to get snagged on something. Plus, with this particular gun, you're probably only going to be shooting it in a CQB scenario, so you'll constantly have to be adjusting for the height over bore.

Using nods in cqb you’re going to be relying primarily on ir laser as your aiming solution. Red dot out to distance. My default is the DevTac Ronin and you need a fairly high mount for that

FYI call Radian to refund your money. Their charging handle is only for the MCX NOT the rattler we have. Suppressed you will have gases blowing in your eyes and some cases not lock back in place. You can inspect the sig charging handle compared to the radian and see the the sig has a protection coat on top to stop gases from blowing back in your face.

I live like 30 minutes from VC Canada, always wanted to move up there and get outta the US. I'm young but I have a passion for modern firearms and building them, my question is: was it hard to get your shop going/ find work in Canada ? No the AR15 version won't fit. Radian only makes the LT now for the mcx/mpx to my knowledge.

I noticed you have those anti roll pins on your trigger group. I tried putting a set on my rattler, but the hammer pin has an angled shelf on the lower receiver which makes a gap. Did you grind an angle onto the hammer pin part of the locking bar?

I don't have IG, but I think mine is just as sexy. I have the Canebrake, but swapped the handguard for the og rattler handguard, sig srd762ti-qd suppressor, talon safety, radian charger, Geissele single stage trigger (I deleted the hammer lockout on the bolt) to make it work, Sig side folding minimalist stock, ultradyne flip up sights, sig romeo1 /w midway mount, lancer smoked mag with lancer extension base plate, BCM hand stop, and I have a 5.56 rattler barrel to swap between 300blk and 5.56. Yours looks similar to mine.

XCR pistol mags allow 10 rounds. You can possess the ones you had prior to May 1, 2020, but until the legal battles are sorted out on the ban you cannot acquire any new ones.
