agree, i've always liked thinner rubber on exotics, seems to work with their sharper lines, but on most hot hatches ive always preferred a little meat on the wheels

I think the height sensors are for the headlight levelling system all newer cars have it so depending on the terrain the headlights will always be level so the driver can always see in-front of them 👍🏼

Hight sensors adjust headlight levels automatically, been used after introduction of xenon lights. Also adjusts air suspension and may be used with some dampeners. Main function in cars without air suspension is automatic headlight adjustment. You can easily test how the beam hight changes. Take a car without auto adjustment and drive close to a wall to see the beam. Then ask couple friends to join you in the car or load the trunk with some weight. The beam hight should change.

There are multiple reasons for the height sensors. Tire Pressure Monitoring System is also one of the reasons. Some models carry the physical sensor attached to the valves. Most models carry height sensing TPMS. If you have the option to "Recalibrate TPMS" under the vehicle settings then you have height sensing.

On those sensors instead of the black plastic zip ties they do make stainless steel ones I’ve used them on my ATV projects and they give it a more oem hardware appearance.

Nothing like catch cans, racingline parts, intakes, exhausts (other than borla) etc. I already have suspension but the kits that pop up for the mk8 GTIs are labeled for other cars such as audis of other years like 2015s

Always thought the level sensors were for the Headlights. So when weight is in the car they auto level to not blind oncoming traffic. I would imagine a car like this with LED Headlamps would auto level??

The tsw wheels are not cast they are rotary forged or flow formed, that's why they are light. Also Work Meister S1 3p in white polished lip or bust. This is jdm car it needs jdm wheels.

They're cast and post-processed ("flow-formed") to extrude the barrel into the final shape. "Rotary Forged" is a trademarked TSW marketing term. Not a truly forged wheel, but there are a ton of advantages over basic cast wheels.
