Building the Ultimate Station Wagon | Charger Magnum Hellcat | 1000HP Hellwagon | Pt 88

I finally installed the driveshaft and the Magnaflow exhaust but I ended up running into some fitment issues with the larger 4" 1500HP drive shaft so Im going to have to remake the x pipe with some 3" oval tubing.

I just reviewed the video where you said you talked to the owner and it was pretty clear that you were referring to the owner of the Magnaflow company, which I understood when I watched the video the first time. Not sure why anyone thought you were saying that you were building the car for someone else????? One thing with building a custom car, you have to customize custom parts to get the exact fit you want. Needless to say that all this custom work will result in a custom car with no issues. The care and attention to detail that you put into it is outstanding.

@@Junkyard_Dave It sure is, like two years working on this build, but you can't rush perfection. Far better to take your time and make sure everything is right, rather than rushing into it just to get it finished and then having problems like some other builds have encountered. Pretty sure that when this car is finished, that you won't have any problems with it. You sort out the problems along the way, like you've been explaining in this video.

88 parts is just a testament to the amount of work that goes into a legit build. The trials and tribulations as well as learning from mistakes and making adjustments to move forward is part of the experience. The plan NEVER stays the same and changes will always happen intentionally or unintentionally. The amount of time it takes to do the build will reflect in the quality of the finished product.

That's what projects do they require modifications and modification accessories my 5.3 swapped blazer I modified the 4.3 brackets to fit the 5.3 people doubted it but i got , you inspired me to do that keep up the amazing work man this is gonna be an amazing ride when it's done.

I came late to your build series. You have a unique talent for not only engineering things to work with each other but also, a great eye for body lines and work. Not many people have your broad skillset. Impressive is an understatement. The only thing that gets me is the fact that your building this for someone else. I would cut the bushing mount off the coil over lower bracket. You won’t lose your concentric center line and you can trim the stub shaft easier in the lathe. Looks good as always Dave.

He was talking about Magnaflo sponsoring him for the exhaust and that he had to keep the company up to date about why it was taking so long to get the car ready to install the exhaust. It took longer than originally planned, so communication was very important to ensure that the sponsorship wasn't cancelled and avoid having to send the exhaust kit back.

I would have just cut them shocks down with a Harbor Freight cut off wheel , then mig them back together. Then spay a coat of Rustoleum on them & they be good to go. I've never seen the Goonzquad have to have anything go to the machine shop I think you go out of your way on all these jobs ,it's just overkill, Don't forget your Junkyard Dave , not Perfectionist Dave
