Could you add an ambulance bay out the front of the hospital where ambulances can wait for a call or drop off patients in an emergency?

What a wonderful build. It is hard to find words anymore. For me the signature little details are how the delivery warehouse area was taken so much care of, although from the build’s perspective it is not essential but every detail matters, and the rock “fence” for the in between area. These are just a few examples for the attention and amazing city building skills of OE. Ilos is and will be a standout city!

Awesome build, I always enjoy seeing people take the time to do these medical complexes instead of lazily just plopping down a hospital. Probably my only critique is it really wouldn’t be a bad idea to re-establish some sort of interchange off the highway that you previously removed to make room. This is a very important hospital not only to the city but also to the region being that it’s specializes in childcare. So having that interchange (which the complex would be signed for on the interstate) would be important to keep.

We had the child health care facility, we had the eldercare facility. The nanotech building being incorporated into a larger health care campus leads me to believe that Ilos now has an alien health care facility. At this point, the aliens think they're being sneaky. Pretty much everyone knows they're here, and has just accepted it as fact. But the aliens still think they're being sneaky. The agents think they have done a good job keeping things under wraps. Everyone else finds the charade amusing and play along for a bit of a laugh.

phoenix love ! when my mom moved to phx in 1965 that was the edge of phoenix , after that it was orchards until scottsdale .

As a native of Phoenix I have to say you have truly captured the feel on your sightlines, it truly feels i've driven some of the avenues you've built...Phoenix being the perfect gridded city other than traffic lights and traffic and heat....If you care about more some details Central and roughly McDowell are the starting point for the naming numbering system in phx. Central Avenue is central runs N-S. If you travel west from there the roads go up(7,19,27,35...) and are either Avenue or Drives, if you travel east the number are almost mirrored but they are Streets and Lanes...7th Street being 1 mile east of Central and 7th Ave being 1 mile west of Central. Makes it easy to know if you turned the wrong direction.

You might Bob-off the helipads fences and merge them together... An office should look very nice there too... Even if I'm a pure vanilla player, I love Ilos more and more...

I’d recommend you to add public transport, maybe metro or buses to the hospital. Would decrease traffic and allow more people to get healthcare. Maybe try using busroads to make sure the buses won’t get stuck in traffic?

Just love this series, can’t get enough! I would love to see some xeriscaping that the southwest does so beautifully - check out the Four Seasons Troon North in Scottsdale for example…

I thought that hospital asset looked familiar.... my daughter has been a patient at PCH, its an amazing facility, they really make a tough experience a lot easier to take.

My relatives in Mesa, Arizona live in a suburb I think it is called “Stapley”? I could be wrong but their homes all have grassy backyards with pools, front yards with small rocks instead of grass, either large bushes or saguaro cacti, and all the homes have red tiled roofing. I think a suburb like that would be absolutely perfect for a city like Ilos! I think it is called Stapley but I know for certain it is close to “Stapley Junior High School”. The homes in front of the hospital in Ilos remind me of them!

Great build as always, Egg! Just noticed as I'm watching the detail timelapse - there's no windsock on the Medical Heliport. How do they know where the wind is blowing when they take off? Seems like the kind of design flaw a responsible Egg would correct! I'm pretty sure one of the other assets (flying club, perhaps?) has one you could add on.

@OE I recently found your channel and have really enjoyed your content. I am working my way through Ilos and I have been staying current on Noobs 2. Additionally I have really found the mod builds useful. I do have a question. May be impossible to answer, I understand that.] I have have a 5 tile 17k city and just gotten a "not enough raw materials" on half my generic industry. The only thing I can find online is create more way for industry to get raw material. Any general ideas? Thanks again for the content.
