- This is a modded Cities Skylines build based off the American south west region, mainly Phoenix noin Arizona but also drawing from other places too.
- I am playing with the "RelightWarm" relight, no changes to settings.

Unless I missed it. You need medical services at the border. I live near that border in Az and they have several clinics and a hospital down there as well as some commercial properties. Love all your series!

This brings back memories to the roadtrips to the border I used to take when I lived in Arizona. Even the overgrowth detailing added to the vibrancy of the area. I'm so glad you used the Nogales crossing as your inspiration; I used to live about an hour away from Nogales in Vail. The customs and border security complex looks very impressive from a distance as you approach from I-19. I think you captured that vibe quite well. As a local, I feel obligated to point out that Phoenix is very far from the border; probably about a 3 or more hour drive from it.

Nice vid. In order to give that rural 2-way higway a reason to exist, I'd recommend building a tiny village - town which is not far from the border. There are many rural places extremely close to borders at many occasions, with some of them even reaching the border fences

Well, we've reached border crossing episode, and that means the city is coming to an end. But, this border crossing is really fantastic. The different industrial assets really pull off the vibe. It's instantly recognizable as a border crossing.

The bridge over the crossing should be 2 way so that warehouses on both sides of the road are serviced.

Amazing border crossing build, so cool to see how many vanilla assets are being used to get this to look right. I did not realize the small back areas of those warehouses fill up over time, was thinking just setting them to empty would be best but this way it's much nicer.

Mass Transit Border Musings: When you cross a border on a bus do they come on the bus and check your passports (like on a 1990's European train)? In terms of US and UK border crossings, I have only been in and out through the airports. I have crossed by boat between Cambodia and Vietnam. There they made you unload in a rest stop type area where they checked passports, checked luggage, and issued visas. On the other hand, when I crossed between Guatemala and Mexico on a boat, I stayed on the boat and never saw the border guards at all; Someone took our passports and just dealt with it for us.

Awesome project! Makes me want to build one inspired by the one near me. The US side is modern and large, while out Canadian side is right out of 'Canadian Bacon' or 'Fargo.'

Fantastic, wonderfully detailed build, as always! Might I suggest that there;'s something missing? It would be great to see a pedestrian crossing too, with a bus station on either side of the border, bringing in people who want to cross, but who don't have a car. And should the traffic slow as it passes through the toll booths? I'd slow them right down to 10 mph. Really looking forward to the next ep!

Very nice border crossing. Perhaps add a building with a radio antenna tower? Maybe some solar to make sure power never goes down at the crossing.
