Hi 👋, Black Forest, Great looking 👀 side Table, but I think all of the angles should’ve been mitred, as you and see the end grain on the ends of the table, that is just my opinion, still looks a very interesting table, keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing you next project., Phil from the moulin France.

We would of had to stand the pieces up and cut some 11.25 degree angles, and needed a 24" diameter saw blade bro. We do have limits in some cases.

Hi 👋, I want to quite sure whether you could do it on your CNC router table, but now I remember it’s a fixed head, or it might of been possible on a tilting head, spindle, moulder, with appropriate cutter block. This is the sort of thing I used to enjoy doing finding a solution to a very complicated job, especially when working by yourself., and it is a course okay if people I’ve got millions of pounds worth of CNC machining, but you still got to know how to program it, never done that I’ll get the handsaw out and cut it by hand, Good luck for the future. Stay safe , Phil from the moulin France,

Must be one of my favourite pieces! Very mystical, don't know if the client is into that sort of thing. Upside down pyramid in the Louvre in Paris comes to mind. BTW. I think it is too close to the fire place. This piece deserves to stand alone. How did you fix the base to the table? Also, I would have somehow moved the central steel support away from the centre so that you can read the tip of the pyramid standing in front of it. I have a lot to say because I love this piece!

I like it although I can't help but think those steel legs are going to spread apart slightly. I hope I'm wrong. But if they do, one additional leg under the tip as a direct vetical support will help a lot.

Love the idea, but I think I'd try to hide the end grains on the side by cutting the glue-up part differently. Don't know if my sentence makes any sense. In my head it works anyway😜 Nevertheless, I love the shape of the wood part combined with the steel. Great job💜

How long until the weight of the table pushes the legs apart? I know it's solid steel, not a square tube, and the legs are short so the moment arm is short, but it looks like the legs are just flush with the table, angled flat to angled flat conducive to sliding, and given the angles the force would want to push the legs apart. Unless they are attached to the table somehow. Perhaps the steel is sized such that it isn't a concern.

Wait, wait... I know what's inside!! Air. Air that contains moisture. Moisture that will be absorbed by the unfinished wood. Absorbed at a different rate than it will be absorbed on the outside where it is finished. Well, it's good that they're local. It will save on return shipping costs in the summer.
