When doing the budget, do I create a table for it in excel or write it as a paragraph in my word document?

Creating it in Excel first is a great way to make sure the numbers add up and play around with them for a few minutes. Then, once you are happy with the numbers, copy and paste into Word. Don't forget to write some information into the table or separate paragraphs with more info about what promotional activities you are proposing. that extra detail can be another mark or two [jim]

You are given a budget (e.g. £40,000); so just pick say three activities, each with an estimated cost, that spends the money!

When do you pick the options for budget also for the timescale do you have to do a table or write it up in paragraphs?.

It will tell u the timescale so I would just write how long it would take for each step although u could do it in a table if u wanted to

@@sharoozqamar1814 yes that would be a good idea because they you could list multiple things u could do in that timeframe. Only thing I would say is that each month could be too much, especially if the campaign lasts something like 12 months, I would maybe therefore do a paragraph for every 3 months. The timescale is only worth 4 marks so it’s rly not worth loads of time.

Doesnt have to be - provided the appropriate level of detail is provided
