She made VERY smart design choices! Very smart. Simple and elegant and modern. She’s a star. I’m saving this in my Ghana file. The only thing she didn’t mention how or if they tested and treated the container before installing the insulation & drywall. That metal needs to be chemically treated if it isn’t it leeches toxins over time. Also, you still have to treat the container exterior to prevent rust. But very smart and talented designer. Bravo!

Plants outside against the wood so natural I didn't think it was container when I saw it. Just perfect. CONGRATULATIONS from US

A multi-function Murphy bed design would be a practical modification. In the down position it's a typical bed. Folded up to the wall, there's a drop down table. It would make a more versatile & efficient use of the space. Many people work online so a multi use space maybe more desirable to traveling renters. The table could serve as a desk work area or a comfortable dining table. A Murphy bed provides extra floor space to invite a guest. Some might feel awkward with a bed in the room like a hotel. Changing the space to feature a table would be more like an office suite. The renter could share a meal with a guest or conduct a meeting.
@cruzpaez80472 жыл бұрын
The Designer & her team might not have been familiar with Murphy beds. I grew up in NYC where attached pop up day beds & Murphy beds are quite common. However, when I moved to upstate NY most ppl had no concept of such furnishings. I live in Putnam County in NY now. Also, the day beds R unattached for children, not adults. All my furnishings R still purchased in NYC b/c designers very, very space conscious & everything must be multi-functional. Many suburban houses have lots of "wasted" space, but I use my space very well surprising many who see my home. I do not waste anything including space. ✌🏾
@T33T3312 жыл бұрын
While watching I was thinking the same thing the furnitures too bulky. Taking away from the space. I said there should be a desk and bed that they can fold and unfold into a wall unit maximizing the space and changes the use of the room. Gaming, entertaining, etc

This structure is beautiful and simple. I would suggest stacking a third trailer on top, and not dividing the units. Each guest would have the run of the full unit. This would be functional for greater numbers of people. You would end up with three full units, not sub-divided. You would attract more high-end clients this way especially families with children. Beautiful, nonetheless.
