Lucky! The Blue LC color is the best! If I started from scratch, I would go Dobinson. Just is higher, but when going over 3", you will have to do other adjustments.

Its tough as it all depends on precious owners, garaged, waxwd regularly etc... But first stepnis stay away from Rust belt, to stay away from compromised frame or panels with rust. Hood an roof clear coat can always be painted, but rust is not reversible.

Angel eyes. They look great, but lumination is poor. They have HIDs, perhaps if I convert them to led brighter lights.

Love the rig brother but I’m wondering since you have 35” tires and not re-gearing , how does it handle going up hills ?. I have 33’s on mine and debating on moving up to 35” . I go to big bear a few times .

It will make it slower for sure. You can see if you don't mind it, then changes gears if needed.

Advice for the best modern land cruiser for a family vehicle. Light light off road only. Mostly a family car for about 25 k ?? Not worried about miles. Is there a 200 series with high miles first year or two for 25 k to 28 k or so ??

Depending on market, there were inly about 3k 200 series LC made in the US from 2008-2021 (skipping 2012) so prices are on the rise. Pre covid it was rare to see a low 20s LC. Now they start at high 20s, at about 28k. Buy one and it should retain its value, even if you add 12k a year to thr odometer

Great truck! I have a 97 LX with 73k miles on it. No triple lockers :(, but great condition. Smells new inside. Been wanting to start working on it. Your tips on here will help. Will be repainting, suspension, tires, etc. Going to do Slee rear bumper too. Think Slee stopped selling these cool sliders you have. Your suspension you mention that it is 2.5-3". Is it suspension lift or body or combination? Thanks

Not a stereo. Its a Pioneer double din. If I were to insrall a new one now, it wouls be the Kenwood with 10i80p screen and caremas up front and back for rock crawling.

First off, are you on a flip phone? You can't conjure up an emoji by writting "Clown Emoji"... 🥳 You do know I can delete comments? but I never do. I believe anyone can say what they want and be a hater, but as long as they can handle my reply. First off, its 30k in aftermarket parts... Do you know how much a Slee rear bumper is? Or stage 3 Icon lift? Thats your first 10k right there. I do take this off road, but I have 4 other fully capable rigs that I also take out... FJ40 on 40s, HZJ73 on 37s, and more... always triple locked etc... You can come on any trip to see trails only the big rigs go on, but you will have to leave your clown shoes at home, I don't allow them in my rig.

The weight addition is mainly the front bumper and rear, as the 5rh wheel and tire are just moved, and tire is heavier than OEM size. I would say the roof rack, bumper armor, hi-lift, lights etc... is about 500 pounds. Yet I did remove the rear tire holder (40-50lbs) and will remove the rear seats for another 80-90lbs. So net difference is maybe 375lbs, not too much. Still need to add the Zeon 12-S winch.
