Nice! I need to do this on my DV20. It's steaming like crazy. Did you use Barnacle Buster or Brick Cleaner to do it?

Remove clean test and replace thermostat. Remove clean check and refit exhaust elbow Remove clean check and refit ‘Y’ fitting at front of block Replace impeller THEN run a strong (50/50) acid water mix around the salt water side until it’s good and warm (40ish deg) and then flush really well with clean water. Repeat if needed Doesn’t matter what brand acid you use
