I've had my Viper since April and right now it is at Bul getting some warranty work done. Last round hold back with one round left in the mag. Four mags all the same. Bul has been fast, free and fair so far. The just received it back yesterday. It's been a great carry double stack 2011 so far besides this one issue.

I didn’t have any issues with them last year... however there are some interesting developments as far as how they treat their dealers and distributors now that they are gaining traction.... we will see how they do

@@defconcreative I had to have a little smithing done on the sear angle when I first got my Trophy Saw 1911 but it’s been 100% awesome since then - I replaced the perfectly good OEM G10 grips with Armanov asymmetrical CNC’d panels - they’re a very cool product - at least for a competition shooter - I’d check them out if you haven’t already

I like the look at these--but there seems to be quite a few quips about "quality" and I am not sure if its a real concern or not--but at that price---I would like to be certain.

@@wjggmt1180 look at my channel, I have 3 Bul Armory SAS2 pistols. The Viper had an issue with slide release. The warranty was fast and free. I think there are over 20 Bul videos and one on the warranty process. I would buy a Bul over a Staccato, I think Bul is better.

I have the updated version of the viper, now called the UL 3.25 comp, and it’s a fantastic gun. It comes from the factory with the CCW package that was offered previously now it’s standard and comes with the optic cut no matter what. Such a fantastic value.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! If you live in a restricted state with magazine capacity issues, Colorado is 15 limit. Bul Armory will send you a 10 magazine round vice stock 16, no in between which isn’t listed on their site. I don’t know too many folks who buy a double stacked 1911 gun with a magazine capacity of 10 for $1500, there’s too many options at single stack on same platform for 50%+ the monies savings. No compensation offered either, they stated to purchase mags at neighboring states on my dime, lol!

I wish they would have made the comp com all the way down to meet the grip, it looks weird to me with it half sticking out like that. I have the PMM comp on my P365 and I think it looks much better covering the entire front of the gun

First time seeing a vid from you. I like your format. I own a CZ/DW VBOB Commander in 9mm only but 20-30 rounds through it and they have been my fav single stack production piece for a while, I like the all steel for some odd reason, don’t know a whole lot about the BUL Armory but man I have staccato fever and was going to sell the VBOB and a never fired brand new Canik TP9 SC Elite so I can snap the C or C2. I thing I’d like the 4.2” barrel over the 3.9 but just wanted to ask. I never owned a 2011. Is snagging the staccato worth letting the VBOB go or? Just curious. Thanks! I just subscribed!

You go to there website click USA on the top right click the three lines and scroll down to dealers and it will show the list of dealers out in the USA call them and see if they have it available. I live in south Florida and there’s two dealers near me and plus the bul armory distributor location. I went the nearest one called “Big Bang” and bought the Sas II there.

How did you like working for Cabot guns? And how do they compare to Triarc ?

I like it a lot! Always new and different projects so no 2 guns are the same... keeps my ADD brain occupied! Cabot and Triarc serve 2 totally different markets. I know chris (the owner) and he will tell you the same thing. Triarc build very high quality production guns with some options using a mix of off the shelf and made to print parts, where as Cabot is a full custom shop and makes their parts in house from billet. To my knowledge Cabot is the only one building guns the way we do. Sources from US billet on our own machine, in house.
