brother, definitely don't downplay the content you put out (as someone said above), it's seriously insightful and motivating to see you reflect on your progression and formulate a game plan for the future. Let's kill it!

You are a machine, liked your perspective on training with clothes on and sort of unveiling new gains after a period of time and focussing on performance and trusting that gains in strength will carry over to the physique side !

I like the "train clothed" strategy.... been doing this for a few months now. And once you learn how to make gains without getting *too* fat you can still look good in the offseason. I am not taking daily photos or all that like I was in my cut but I still look good and can see that gains have been made

I feel like you easily get used to looking at yourself all the time. I'm aware when I do it and somehow it feels like you can get more and more neurotic about it. Doesn't seem healthy to me. Very interesting to hear your thoughts while watching some training footage 👍

Yeah man your bb training should make it so that you are more at peace with your image. It should require less frequent analyzing at a certain point

The insight in the process of gaining weight from someone who's been in the game for so long is invaluable. It's nice to hear from someone who has tried both reverse dieting and more of a recovery diet, and coming to the conclusion that the reverse dieting is probably mostly a huge waste of time. It makes sense to me too, even though I haven't been stage conditioned, I've got pretty lean and workouts definitely lack that oumph compared to when you're carrying a little extra. Also, your thoughts on how to deal with a little extra fat helps a lot. Keep up the great content!

Really enjoying this series, Alberto! Any tips re. progression for an injury-prone person with small joints who isn't naturally strong? I've been lifting consistently for 5+ years but tend to have form breakdown when adding weight to the bar on movements in the 6-8 rep range. In your opinion, would it be better to focus on other forms of progression (e.g., add sets, reps, decrease time between sets), adding weight more slowly but keeping some lower rep stuff in, or to try to up the rep ranges on these movements (10-12) and try to keep adding weight at a more rapid pace? Thanks!

What's impressive for me? The fact after so many years around this sport you don't have to convince yourself that you truly love training. Maybe next entry you can talk more about your relation with training? Were there days in your life when you wanted to leave for a while?

I don't think you'll have any trouble getting lean later, gain away. If you do a show and say "... was just too heavy..." that would be something to talk about and learn from. Vs could have been bigger? Go for it
