Can You teach how to leanbulk
@julianharrison88782 жыл бұрын
Hi Jay At my gym it seems weight loss is the thing rather than bulking although at one time a few guys were trying but with work life balance they struggled to be consistent but persevered but said it was a lack of informed direction or conflicting information which made it harder for them. Very best wishes. Jim Harrison Cheshire UK.

Bulking adds more strain on your organs, plus then there is the cut double whammy. Like you say the heavyweight divison is a longer road, because it is something that should be done gradually building muscle over time adding those layers letting your body acclimatise. Overall you should try to stay lean with some body fat to be healthy.

I was always so afraid to bulk/gain weight, and never made any progress. Was always trying to lose weight. Just embracing the fluff now, eating enough food to thrive and finally growing. Many people think that is the story of hard gainers, but honestly my starting BF% was definitely over 20%. It's gone up now to probably 25% and my appetite has stabilised. For naturally bigger guys, I think the lean culture is really a gains killer. Gotta find a diet that is sustainable for growth and just let the body be whatever it is gonna be.

I met a dude in the gym, he was around 450lb, seriously unhealthy guy trying to get his life together. After seeing him a few times I went "what's happenin' today?", he went... "usual stuff, I've been bulking for about 25 years I'm doing cutting now!" 😁

I teach Health Education and Physical Education in Seattle Public Schools and the curriculum has changed a lot since we were in school. It now includes tons of mental health components, impact of social media and how to use it in a healthy way, healthy relationships, nutrition basics, macros, how to make healthy choices when eating out. etc... so, we are moving in the right direction at least up here in the NW. Unfortunately kids don't get this material multiple years like you were mentioning. Great video Jay love you man!!

Back in 2006 I moved to Vegas for awhile. Was a Technician at Fletcher Jones Inports, I worked out at Golds on Sahara and was very Motivated in that Gym. So Many highly fit People, One Day on the Mercedes Benz Service Drive I met Jay Cutler, I said wow, you are the biggest body builder I had ever seen in person. He said thanks man. I walked away thinking, how is this guy not Mr Olympia ? Latter that year he won his first Olympia. I stuck to my training and got in the best shape of my life. Meeting Jay on that Mercedes Service Drive alone was huge motivation and not to mention he's a really nice guy who's mind seems as strong as his Body.

You I spired me not to chase numbers on the weights! I'm a smaller frame guy, who wanted to lift like the big guys, so I always tried to max out my lifts, and go for that 1 rep max. I now realize I can make much more progress by lowering my weight, slowing down my reps, and focusing on the mind to muscle connection.... and I'm still getting stronger. Love this new training style, I'm getting great results without all the joint aches, and pains. Thank you for being such an amazing icon for the community!

I’ve been lean bulking and I’m getting stronger and also leaning out beautifully. Carb cycle is the way I’m doing. Absolutely believe in lean bulking, been a figure competitor since 2010. Lots has changed since then. I competed in your show “cut above the rest” and took 1st in open, masters and 2nd overall in figure division. Thank you always for your inspiration and I’m all about the old school bodybuilding, before social media blew up. Love your vlogs!!

Great content as always! I prefer to get lean (around 10-12% body fat)then bulk at 20% above maintenance calories with low carb on my off days. I tried going full crazy bulk but I ended up a fat mess and it took much longer to diet back down so I try to be reasonable with my calories.
