It's wonderful how the forest comes back from fire so quickly. We've has several fires here in Az; nature always comes back stronger and healther afterward. Love your work. Thanks for sharing.

It really is. We had no idea we were going to being going through this area either. It reminds us of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where trees were growing from the long cooled ash. Just incredible.

I did this hike down LeConte in May of 2020. An amazing trail to do if you want to see recovery from devastation. Other than a couple that were at the lookout, I saw no one else on this trail. There was plenty of blowdown on the trail, and I now have a scar on one leg from a twig on a blowdown scraped my leg. Thanks for the memories of this hike. Greetings from Washington state!! :)
@MagellanandGreyhound4 жыл бұрын
That’s great that you got to do this! They may have cleaned up a bunch of the blowdown because we didn’t really see much. We are very curious to do this trail again in the future just to see how different it looks.

That fire was UNREAL! The thing about fire is that's the only way some species- like white oak- can germinate. Silver lining 🤷♂️
