@@miephoexI agree but only if it’s going to make a difference in a positive impact and if it matters. If it does not impact you and your family them I believe we should just sit back and enjoy the kindness given to us by welcoming us to a glimpse into their life. Their life and family and how they live does not truly impact me personally. I watch what they do and take away from them and implement what will work or don’t if It won’t but I don’t have a right to be rude or even to feel like I should feel inclined to try to get them to change the way they do things. I can nicely share what works for me in a better way but that’s for them to decide if it will work for them or not. However, I don’t know that we should openly negate or share we don’t care for the way they do things. Especially, if there is no good that will come out of it.

Dear Janice, you are the sweetest and kindest woman. There are so many wonderful people in this world as you know. I understand totally how you feel, I am like you in some ways. There are many bad people too and as long as I live I’ll never understand people with a dark heart. Never. Your reaction is good, there is nothing wrong with how you react to them. Hey there Sean, Janice and family. I wanted you to know that while the distractions from the kids during some of the first grocery haul videos that I watched seemed a little "odd" to me compared to other similar content I watched, I have come to be encouraged and even a bit pricked in my conscience to witness you dealing with daily kiddo distractions with such patience, joy and kindness. I saw distractions from tasks you were trying to complete, but you have the priority of raising your children. You do well imparting the teaching of Kindness to them. I also agree with how you pointed out in your last video that Rebecca is 3....she has the attention span and awareness of a 3 year old. And that's not bad! She herself is doted on by all of her siblings we see, but she also pours out kindness and love. She wants to help you, she shows interest in what you are doing and she does it all very sweetly. I have never seen a video where she has shown one ounce of being a brat. I don't think I've even seen a pout! (My children have definitely shown more than a pout in public) Thank you for your example of a loving family that prioritizes relationships over whatever is going on in the moment. I hope to better implement more of that with my own children. Janice, I feel for you dealing with all of the negativity that comes with a channel like this. I support the idea to do your best to just let most of it roll off of your back and ignore it. I look forward to your next video!

I am 52 and from Sweden. I watch your videos with joy and it makes me happy. I have no children or a spouce. I have always wanted to live on the countryside with animals and a large family. I was born june 11 :) Well for different reasons that never happended. I am okej with that today. And I am happy in the situation I am in. But it brings me joy to watch your family and your happenings. I liked the unboixng videos because of the childrens joy and I respect and understand the reason for you to stop with them. It must be a real hassel. I like all the other videos to like the hatching videos and cooking videos, gardening videos and all other videos :D Your children is very well behaived and so sweet and kind and so are you as people and parents. Unfortunately there is a mean people in the world and will always be. And I think blocking the one´s that are the worst is a good thing. The real mean one´s cant be changed. If it is a little bit rude comment then maybe that can change by letting tihe person know that. But mostly the mean one´s are just mean. And it is hard to accept sometimes but the reality is like that. I focus on the good and the kind and sweet people and ignore the mean one´s as best as I can,. But it is hard. I am not a religious person but I beleive in being good to others. I want to be the best I can be so when the day comes I can be happy with the work I put in to be a better person. And that it is constant work. I watch another channel to and the people are som mean to the mother about everything. There is channels dedicated just to be mean to her. And they spread all kind of nastyness. They make money on that. I think that is why there is channels just dedicated to be mean to other creators. Hi there I'm only starting to watch your Livestream (not live as I was sleeping 😊). I just wanted to say that you have chosen the harder path , in my opinion. To live and raise your children outside of the system, in the most wholesome way you can. Your youngest daughter is just that , the youngest. She is learning every minute of every day. By your patience and "loving on her" she is learning how to be loving and kind. I would never expect a two to three year old to understand mammy's busy or don't be loud now or don't look for attention right now. Those subtleties come later on, as she learns what it's like to be respected she learns respect etc etc. Your older children are your shining examples of loving parenting. This is to both Janice and Shawn more power to you ❤ Edit after watching : yes, yes and yes 😂 let your light shine and healthy boundaries do their best work. We learn and grow through sharing our truth, that is what you've done by sharing this dilemma, in my opinion

It’s a new day. I had a thought this morning. I think yours is the only channel I have seen that considers followers as extended family. Most present what they present…period. I am wondering if your nurturing welcoming very loving relationship with us is what leads so many to “ offer their input”? It’s like you have an extended family of thousands? With all of us grandmas, aunts,cousins offering our family two cents on every little thing? And talking to you like many do in families- both good and not so god. My son and his wife adopted a lil girl when she was 13yo. The first time we met her was when she came to our Thanksgiving dinner with them. I am not exaggerating when I say within 15 min of her being here it felt like she had been in our family since birth! At any rate, I became quite close to her as she grew up and one day I asked her, "Do you think most people are good or bad?" She immediately responded "bad" and I was at a loss for words for once. Lol I imagine you know which way each of your children would answer, but out of curiosity you might ask them. I think they would all say "good" due to their upbringing. She was brought up around drug addicts and thieves. I vote for block and delete rude people. If they're in a gray area for you, warn them that if they continue, you will have to block them. I don't vote for "let Shawn handle it". Yes, Shawn would be great at it, but I think you need to learn to protect your soul from negativity and darkness. Your family has truly been a blessing to me. I appreciate getting to come here and be exposed to light and positivity. Cheri

I am a 70 year old from England and have never liked, subscribed or commented on any channel before but was so incensed by the negative comments you received that I felt I had to! Your little one is bright, curious and confident- just perfect!

I don’t get a chance to watch as often as I’d like. Healthy boundaries are important, especially in this day and age. Block and delete, and don’t feel badly about it. Don’t let it waste your energy. I’ve been a widow over a decade and let me say, it’s a hard hard world when you are alone (especially this day and age). I’ve had to learn some new ways of surviving this world, and I’m not happy about sone of them. I just only have so much energy and time and situations / people can suck the life out of you (especially if you try to be a good person and make everybody happy). I can’t make everyone happy anymore. I try, but then I move on. Im rambling… just know you shouldn’t feel bad about anything. You don’t have to share your lives. You choose to and we get so much from your family. For me, it’s like going back in time and remembering how good life was growing up on a farm, cooking and all the things y’all do. It’s that 1% that I guess comes with growth of a channel. I hope you find peace about this situation and going forward, find it easy to handle it and move on. I don’t know how you do all you do! So don’t let them take one moment of your energy. That was long winded, but sometimes it’s hard to get across what I want to say by typing. Plus, I don’t get to watch all your videos and keep up. I try to go back, and do, but I’m always behind. 🥰

I have 2 comments. First, Little One’s behavior that bothered someone, made me smile! She was really feeling her oats. As a retired Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten Teacher I loved how the older girls distracted her and got her occupied elsewhere. Perfectly developmentally appropriate. Second, I love how gracious y’all are to recommend other KZbin channels. I haven’t seen that on too many other channels. So enjoy watching with my 91 year old mom suffering from dementia. Your family brings her lots of joy.
