This Hot Rod civic just wont give in! It’s rough it’s tough it’s Bully stuff. Today we got it on the dyno and start to get a tune up in it when it comes tipping off the dyno T 170 mph! So hold on tight while we try and tame the Bully!

I would maybe add more shocks or spring rate or have a race chassis shop to check its structure and stiffness as seems a little bit flexy on front subframe on and off power it jumps alot which won't help the grip on launch or maybe custum built a traction bar to pull the wheels into the tarmac 🤔 or si built awd bully 🤤 👌

Can anyone explain the Bully's purpose? Not hating just trying to understand. Mr2's and other 4 bangers are making more power more usably, I just dont get it, Personally I'd be taking the front end and puting it in the rear of a civic sedan but maybe someone can englighten me. Edit: Back when I was in college doing engineering I was taught if you're struggling harder (than expected) then you're doing it wrong. or I.E there's probably a better way. I'm watching this Bully evolving but I'm concerned by a few points : - why is one bank of cylinders cooler than the other one into the intercooler ? Did you check gate pressure on each side ? - why do you run your tune so lean to glow the headers ? - too much vibrations onto the turbos and the piping, they deserves more bracing imo. These are some breaking points in a close future. - all the flex from the front clip assembly : is that possible to have some mounting points further back to offer more lever but less travel ? Keep up the good work, we're all waiting for you to have success on that insane project !

Coming off the line you want it to come up on the tire and go but it comes up and starts bouncing between the tire and suspension. If the framed in the front to the rest of the chassis and just dialed it in that way it would come out alot more stable !!

This is a cool car, but the way the front suspension is with the engine so far forward and the vibration it causes just hanging out there will be impossible to hook up and have any drivability. Please put this engine in the rear of a car. MR2? I don’t know. I don’t see this design ever working. Do yourselves a favor and bag the project and use it as a parts donor. Brent is a humble Muslim brother But o wish all his friends would chip in and get him a worked V tec or a 2 JZ and two much bigger Turbos with the engine pushing 1500 to 1800 Hp .I would love to see Brent working on it all happy and ones he puts the engine in it to see how much horspoer it could push ....them lying to him ahhh maybe 600 to 800 But ones he puts iy on the dyno he sees numbers close to 1700 amd gets the car up to almost 1900 JE WOULD BE SOOOOOO HAPPY .. Very nice job as always. Curious why you guys aim for flat HP and not flat TQ? Force = Mass * Acceleration. A = F / M. Mass is always going to be constant. If you have flat TQ this means you have linear HP and your acceleration is also going to be constant (flat). This leads to linear velocity. If your HP is flat this means you have negative linear TQ and flat HP and thus your acceleration will be highest at peak tq and then start dropping off. This leads to velocity that will plateau earlier which is undesirable especially with something that has a 2 speed trans. IE you will reach the same velocity at a later time than flat TQ.

Has anyone else seen the security footage of the flywheel exploding while a car is on the dyno and ended up giving a guy a dirt nap! saw that a few months ago and cant help but think about you guys... Great video,makes it easy to see tire expansion,frame deflection {noticed that it lifted up in front,it has a lot of unsprung weight in front of the wheels.if you get 2 lazer pointers you might be able to measure wheel diameter fluctuation while at speed. just a thought.i want to see more videos like this ,i can learn a lot ,thanks Brent

Considering he's running a powerglide, 750hp is pretty damn good! My old 2jz/powerglide combo read 150hp higher when I switched to a manual tranny. So for comparison, this may dyno closer to 900whp if it were a manual.
