So after whey has been introduced, when is the yoghurt added? You mentioned that you don’t add it to the meat stock. Do you just give it as it is? How much to start with? Really helpful videos. Thank you!

Hi Marissa! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. To make the meat stock do I have to use the whole chicken, or can I use its parts (like thighs)? . Thank you ❤

Thank you for your video, it’s really helpful. I just wondering in weeks 2 did your baby consume meat stock, veg juice and veg puree one time at a day? Sorry if you already explained in the video, I didn’t really catch that because English is not my first language. Thank you

Hi marissa! Wondering how you keep up with consuming all the chicken meat with the amount of meat stock one needs to make each week.

Great question! We eat a lot of meat around here, so we don't have an issue. But, I know that many people run into this. I like to recommend making "low meat meat stock" with wings, feet, backs, necks :)

Hey Marissa, thankyou for this playlist, this is so helpful. I have a question, is it ok if I made the yoghurt from pasteurized milk? I live in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia, not sure the quality of raw milk here.

If baby has troubles when I consume dairy should I avoid whey and kefir? I had some raw milk and a2 milk and neither seemed to hurt him but I’m not 100% certain. Should I just test on baby’s wrist and see how that goes?

Thank you for this content. I have a two and a half month old and this is helping in planning ahead and seeing what the gaps way of food introduction is. I may not implement everything 100% but I will surely implement some of this. *Video idea: what are your thoughts on children’s toys? Do your children have any or do you feel children are better off without modern toys? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you so much! Yes, we have toys, but I do try to stick to open ended ones, avoid electronic ones and avoid plastic as much as possible :)

Hi, please reply. My baby is 5 months and trying to gather all the info so prepared. When you say week 1 does this include the whole week so Monday-Sunday and not just one day xx

Super helpful video! My first child just turned 5 months old and I was feeling so clueless as to how to introduce solids next month! Just a few questions: 1) Are the freezer moulds you use made of silicone? How do you thaw the pureed vegetables? And do you just feed your baby one cube at a time? 2) Is Himalayan pink salt okay for the meat stock? 3) What size is your lifefactory bottle? I've been meaning to get some for my little one but I'm not sure if I should purchase the larger one or the smaller one. 4) Could you make a video on non-toxic baby toys that you've purchased for your baby? My baby just has a few toys and everything I'm seeing in the store seems to be made of plastic, which we're trying to avoid. What have you been using? Thanks!

I’m loosely following this plan for my 8+ month old. She did not like the broth at first but is slowly accepting it so it’s taking me longer to get to the next foods as I didn’t want to give her anything else until she would drink the broth…is that ok? Also is sauerkraut juice instead of whey or kefir ok?

Do you have a link for how to make homemade whey or sauerkraut? I don't know how to make either and don't see a link for it.

Hi Marissa! You really inspired me to do Gaps baby with my 6 mos old. Does the kind of stock matter? Like beef vs chicken?
@bumblebeeapothecary2 жыл бұрын
That's wonderful, thank you! Dr. Natasha says chicken is good to start with, but then you can do others :)

Hi- I'm looking at purchasing your GAPS to GO program :) but I'm wondering if you've included this part- the very first foods in it. Is this considered stage 1? My baby is 5 months old, I'm a first time mom and really want to try this but I am confused!! Please let me know, thank you!
@bumblebeeapothecary2 жыл бұрын
Great question! The GAPS to Go is a 30 day meal plan for the regular GAPS intro (for children and adults). Baby GAPS is a slightly different protocol. I hope this helps! I recommend getting Dr. Natasha's yellow GAPS book to read about the different protocols :)

I live in California and having a hard time finding raw goats milk. If can’t find raw goat milk could I use raw milk to make the whey? :)
