It's always interesting to me when you get a character like Android 19 or Little Red who has a smaller presence in their own franchise, but then when a video game comes into the picture they just end up being an overwhelming force of nature. It's not like it's a rare exception sort of thing, I feel like pretty often you see those "face of the franchise" characters end up not being top tiers. Basically I'm saying that if Planet Sheen didn't happen Sheen Estevez would be putting MUGEN cheapies to shame.

Fat Princess in Playstation All Stars Battle Royale was a top five character for well over a year but no one realised since she had a very low playerbase. It was mainly due to her having summonable knights, they couldn't be attacked and usually attacked instantly, so there was pretty much no way to contest her unless you had really good long range options. The worst was the air version of the sword knight, since it was basically a divekick that knocked opponents down and set them up for combos and supers. It took around a year and a half to finally nerf her and even after the nerfs she was still a solid high tier.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Zangya has a super move that automatically makes an enemy ring out in the budokai arena, so... yup. Details: Her level 3 is a melee combo that ends by knocking the enemy on the ground hard, where they land and skid backwards. it is such that they will always move out of bounds of the ring-out arena, no matter where they were positioned before or how high they flew. Hit them with that, and automatically win the fight in that arena. Every time.

I was a serial Super Brawl player when younger. Danny and Otis main. I always thought that Sheen was way more difficult compared to previous games. I remember my younger brother and I taking turns trying to take Sheen out. Fall Brawl inadvertently taught me basic fighting game fundamentals (as is, find the opening and take advantage), and it so happened Danny has an extended downward aerial kick and his kick is a corner infinite. So the strat was simple: Somehow get Sheen into the corner, hit him with the aerial, then infinite him to death. I managed to beat him with Danny, and both my brother and I beat him with Blowhole (who also has a speedy aerial kick and an even easier kick infinite in the corner). On a related note, having mained Skipper in Super Brawl 2, he’s not just busted in his projectile spam. He also has a kick infinite, and his Super not only can be used in tandem with the rest of his kit, but also deals the highest amount of damage in the game.

Jojo's Heritage For The Future is funny because the top tiers are about what you'd expect from a Stardust Crusaders fighting game (The Crusaders, Vanilla Ice, DIO) and then there's Petshop as number one, the fucking bird that Iggy fights just for the sake of Iggy having a fight.

Honestly HftF is funny in general since EVERY character has one or MULTIPLE things that make them absurd! In any other fighting game, Holhorse would be a top tier!…Low tier in HftF take it or leave it :D
