Either not paying attention or, believe they’re more important than the next person so, “red light? I think that’s more of a suggestion than traffic law.” We have some bad drivers in this city!

@@IRllyDoThis When I drove through here the other day I noticed there are trees in the center divider that obscure the light for quite awhile as well. The more I see the more it seems like a lot of factors contribute to making this such a bad intersection

@@josecervantes6069 Often. I was asked today by Fresno PD for this video. I’ve had detectives looking for video evidence of cars leaving Woodward park after a shooting. We’ve had a few hit and runs also.

I’ve been driving through this intersection a lot lately and people really have to be trying hard to be awful drivers and causing accidents here. There’s absolutely no obstruction leading up to this intersection so I think people just aren’t paying attention or they don’t care.

At first I thought that intersection was after an incline or corner and drivers just don't react on time. But then I heard this is located in Fresno which explains everything. The Central Valey California has much higher road fatalities compared to other parts of California.

I was wondering how that one happened. Been driving through that intersection for 30yrs, do so daily for the past ~18yrs (way to work) and never understood why there’s always accidents there. My opinion, it’s not a “bad light” issue. It’s a “we have the WORST drivers!!!” issue. Just watch the videos. These aren’t really close calls. If the lights been red for 5-10sec, it’s telling you to stop! Do it. Good call with the camera Mr. Wells. Our bad drivers are gonna end up paying your kid(s) college tuition at this rate! My buddy had a place at the new light on Audubon, told him to do the same after showing him your channel. “First car, college tuition…”

@@t3truedesigns There has to be something about this spot that causes people to not notice SO often. I've been there and I couldn't figure it out, but maybe it's something with time of day? Maybe shorten the yellow time and put a cop there to write tickets to every red light runner for a couple months until people figure it out?
