Dorking needs 2-3 top defenders next season. Too many goals conceded this season. All well having the firepower but it`s the defense that wins titles. Look at Maidstone United.

They have patterns of play to use in certain situations and the lads stopped using them. Yes you can look at the score and think it doesnt matter for this game but the more they do their own thing in a game like this they will do it in a tight game. You often hear him talk about fine margins and that's what he is on about. He is very honest with them so they know where they stand at all times. I was at the game and noticed some of it

Any decent manager doesn’t focus on the score. They didn’t play how they should, and against a better team they would have been punished. Marc is consistent in this regard because Dorking have had losses where he has praised them for the way they played.

Without being rude, some questions if I may. Firstly, has the manager/owner Marc had any experience as a player at any level? Secondly, is he a guy with a decent amount of money that has bought his senior train set? Honest answers appreciated, and it's not a pop at anyone.

😯 what's not likeable about Marc? I'll be the first to admit that I didn't quite get him in the beginning, but when he says what he does about Dan Lincoln and hugs and curries 🤣 I just crease up coz he's just a geezer isn't he? He has played the game from what I understand. Bit of a difference in having money and buying a train set compared to a football club?!?! The game is clearly in his blood, and so is business and success. Just a shame he has dodgy dress sense really 🤣 those caps man!!! 🤣 I'm only pulling ya plod Marc, love ya mate!!!

They played at a Sunday league level and he’s taken them through 12 promotions all the way up to the national league now. Everything you see at Dorking, the stadium, the team, the league, is a direct result of him. Huge accomplishment and although he comes off a bit silly at first he must be some sort of genius to accomplish that.
