Burfee Truffles by D'lish Cuisine
BURFEE
500g milk powder
½ cup almond powder
1 tsp cardamon powder
Mix together
Then Add:
125g butter, grated
Mix together to form breadcrumbs
Add:
1 cup fresh cream
Mix well
In a pot add:
75g butter
½ cup water
4 cups icing sugar
Mix and bring to a boil, then add milk powder mixture little at a time and mix very well. Leave to cool then beat with an electric beater until light.
Refrigerate burfee for 1 hour. Roll into balls and freeze for 30 minutes.
MILK CHOCOLATE COATING
80g milk chocolate
1 tsp oil
Add oil to chocolate and melt in the microwave.
WHITE CHOCOLATE COATING
80g white chocolate
1 tsp oil
Add oil to chocolate and melt in the microwave.
Poke a toothpick in a ball of burfee and dip in chocolate, add toppings immediately.
