On my way to 15% body fat at 57 years old! Hitting the gym 6 days a week and 4 of those days are heavy intensity iron workouts.

Thank you so much again! Do you have any input or opinion in saturated fats, they seem to creep out with some natural protein sources. My cardiologist has told me to stay around 10% daily which is very difficult. As you know some of us past 50 tend to accumulate fat in the blood current and that's not good for the heart, this is different from the body fat issue. Thank you again for great advice. Always enjoy and live your advice.

Thank you my wife is on Mojourno for 2 months and has lost 20 pounds. We are going on a Disco cruise and wants me to loose weight. About 20 pounds in the next 37 days. Had blood work done to see where my problem lys. My T is 370, Very low. Can’t make up my mind to start TRT or Peptides. What would you suggest?

I got put on mounjaro because my doctor wanted me to lose weight but I’d already lost over 100 pounds. He increased my dose every month and it ruined me. I lost so much muscle mass that I couldn’t function and the high dose of mounjaro shut down my digestive tract. Don’t do it for weight loss. These drugs were NOT designed for fat loss. Use it to get your glucose to average about 100 points and then dont increase your dose. After that you should be able to keep muscle mass and burn fat. I thought I had a good doctor but he didn’t focus on helping me. He focused on punishing me for being overweight. He was happy with me being sick, miserable and depressed. He saw that as progress. Keep the dose as low as you can but still have glucose control. Good luck.

@@blisterbill8477 IF you have a good dr then she/he would inform those taking the "unmentioned" medication that it is important to have a change in lifestyle which involves making resistance training a priority..... it actually should be a non-negotiable change. Any weigh loss without exercising will have some muscle loss no matter what. Its up to the individual to research and know resistance training is a must when losing weight to slow down muscle loss and help with metabolism. If a person doesn't want to exercise while taking that medication then they are setting themselves up for the failure/rebound in the long run.

The problem with a lot of zero calorie beverages is that they replace the sugar with chemicals that are very bad for you. Aspertame and Sucrulose are two of them. I've heard that allulose isn't bad but I'm not sure. You can sweeten drinks with monk fruit or just not use at all. The only thing I drink is water and unsweetened green tea. I drank 4 Diet Pepsis a day for decades and finally quit about 7 years ago.

Agree, drink water. The sugar substitutes still spike your insulin as the body still thinks they're sugar. That causes insulin resistance and fat storage.

Remember….all plants have ALL 9 essential amino acids. Also, protein intake is measured by lean mass. Not body weight.

You recommend resistance training 4 consecutive days and then 3 days off? Do I have that right?
