@@laurencedelattre104 Hi Laurence , thank you for watching my video. What do you mean not for glass jar? It works perfectly in a glass jar but I wouldn’t recommend to use it in a clear jar because it does leave some cracks in the wax when it cures. I enjoy working with this wax for sure and I recommend that you buy a sample and experience it yourself.

@@mawahebhomei’m so grateful that I’ve found this comment. I made a candle with this wax blend in a glass jar, followed all the rules (cooling on a wired rack, regulating the ambient temperature and etc) redone it even, and cracks and frosting were still there. It’s a relief to know that it’s not my fault but wax’s specialty 😅😅😅

Thank you so much for this helpful video! I was getting desperate because I bought so many different waxes and wicks and the results were mediocre. I can hardly find any videos on KZbin that test SCX and RCX and document it in such incredible detail as you do. I have another question: do you think SCX or RCX is better? The look in a clear jar is important to me, so I'm looking for a wax that has as little frosting as possible, adheres well to the jar and still has a good hot throw. =)

Thank you so much for your kind words and comment , I appreciate you. It has been a minute since I tested SCX wax that I completely forgot how it worked - I don’t want to misinform or mislead you. RCX however I was extremely happy with , especially the hot throw with my essential oil candles! I bought more of it , unfortunately with RCX has bad glass adhesion , with this I have personally learnt to just accept! The wax pulls away because of temperature changes , you can however heat up your jars before pouring your wax in or I know someone that uses a heat matt to place the candle jars on when pouring. I recently tested a new wax called S41 it is my most recent video , the glass adhesion was excellent alot better than RCX. You could give it a go if you like. I will be doing a burn test with S41 too but it had rough tops. Thank you for your comment , support and watching my video! Happy New Years! 😊

I wouldn't wick down on your Stabillo 8/ EO candle. Stabillo wicks curl since they are self trimming. That's why you'll see more melt on one side vs the other. As you get lower in the jar, the temperature will get hotter so the sides should clean up. Ideally around the 3rd burn. If the sides don't clean up by mid-jar, then consider wicking up. But only if your melt pool isn't deep at that time.

Hi lovely , I have used some of their fragrances, I personally enjoy Cosy Owl more with my waxes than Candle Shacks but I haven’t tried the Pain au Chocolate but im sure it smells delicious

I have followed them but I don’t like to always rely on their testing as it is always advised to carry out our own testing x
