that's how bpm works why exactly do you think the brain synchronizes so well with a rhythmic beat? because half of the body is regulated by something called the parasympathetic nervous system and it synchronizes nervous function with stuff like this. your heart rate will be within a certain range of the type of music that appeals to you in any given moment

“you waited, smiling, for this?” it’s not an abusive relationship, she’s talking to her fans. she feels nowhere near good enough to be idolised, she’s put on pedestal and she just wants to get down. “but they love you!” this is herself and her friends trying to reason with the mind, people love her enough to idolise her and so somewhat she has to be good enough because if she wasn’t good enough then why would people love her? “i might just leave soon.” an incredibly dark ending left to be twisted and interpreted as far as the mind can stretch, my mind leads automatically to ‘leave the earth, die’ but she may also be talking about stepping down from the stage, leaving behind the pedestal and just live as how she sees herself: average.

Your gifts and talents are part of you, but they are not the totality of who you are, KZbin may be an intimate platform that can make the audience feel like they know all of you but that’s not possible. Yes, fans of artists LOVE what they create and LOVE the snippets of personality they get to see but it’s a safe and distant kind of love. It holds value to be sure, after all, what you create does come from your heart and that connects to the hearts of others, but it’s so important to have people in your world who are and will be there for you despite your fame. I sincerely hope you have those people in your life girl, those people who remind you to unplug every now and again, those people who remind you that you have value simply because you exist. :) In saying that, being able to channel your feelings and thoughts into art is a blessing and you do it in a way that is beautiful, deep and connecting. I hope you are able to hold onto the joy and therapeutic power of creating forever!! Xo

And thank you for this song.

"But they love you.." We do. So very much. And that means that if what you need to get back to yourself and back to a good mental health, is to leave KZbin, we will understand and even support this move. Because we love you. I'll miss you, but you gave us so much of yourself already, with your vlogs, your book and your beautiful music, that I can always find you again when I'm sad, just enough of you. Now you get to keep the rest of yourself, and move towards being whole again.

In case someone wants to know, here's an interpretation I wrote once: So, the whole thing is both a message to her audience and a conversation with her younger self about fame. He was certain - someone, like her father or manager, encouraging her to go for being a musician, she could make it big. So was I - dodie looking forward to a future career as a musician There was comfort in her sighs - at first, being a KZbinr helped her mental health. She has often mentioned that making videos about her problems is therapeutic. Making "her" (her online personality doddleoddle) sigh (share problems) was comforting Dreams and ideas should NOT be the same thing - the dream of being famous is great and exciting, but it's not the whole truth. There are high expectations and you put on a fake personality as soon as you sit in front of the camera, thus her dream should not have been an actual plan and idea. You waited, smiling, for this? - Dodie looking at how broken she is and being angry at her younger self for wanting fame and KZbin ("you" being her younger self) Oh she'd want it - her younger self would have wanted the life Dodie now has If she knew - her past self did not know how hard it is to be famous, this kind of says "if only she had known, I would not be here right now, I'd be better" She could take it, I thought too - dodie thought she could take the fame, but couldn't Be careful, be cautious - of course people hear that fame is not easy But you just wished harder - but dodie ignored it. Again, she is angry at, and talks to, her younger self You waited smiling for this - like I said, she is unhappy with the decisions her past self has made, and asks if this live was what young Dodie would have wanted "But they love you", over and over "they love you" - dodie is told, maybe by a friend, maybe by subscribers, that her fans love her and she should be happy about the fame. This person does not really get it, the fans' love is what builds up pressure in the first place Thousands and thousands of eyes just like mine, aching to find who they are - the eyes are her fans, thousands and thousands of people, human beings just like she is a human being. Aching to find who they are could either mean that the fans themselves struggle in life or that Dodie wants to meet and know them, but there are just too many and everyone stays an anonymous stranger. "But they love you", oh you can feel how they love you -same as the first line of the chorus Coated and warm, but that's all they can do, words only get through if their sharp - her followers keep telling her they love her, but the words by anonymous strangers on the Internet don't help, however mean comments do get through and in the end, she feels worse. Sharp might also mean extraordinary, so random comments saying "I like your music" don't mean anything and only the really really bad stories are even remembered, which makes sense considering just how many comments she gets every single day Oh how fitting for one so fake - Dodie realises she is not the same as doddleoddle, and is faking in front of cameras Make me a fairy, whatever it takes - Dodie tries so hard to be perfect like a fairy for her audience, and is willing to sacrifice her own well-being And just like her tale my dream was a scam - her dream of fame did not come true, it was a fairy tale. The "her" refers to the fairy Dodie pretends to be, the life of her online self is not real and a fairy tale, a scam You waited smiling for this - like the first verse I am burnt out, I smell of smoke - not very hard to explain, dodie feels broken It seeps through her cracks and so I start to choke - so the low energy seeps through the cracks in her online personality - either she shares too much personal information with her audience, oversharing etc, or what happens online is starting to affect her real life negatively, as in worsening her mental state for example, or making it harder to connect to people, to get to know people or something like this Sentences sit in her mouth that are templated - what doddleoddle says is scripted, it is not real, not the actual dodie You waited smiling for this - like the first verse The chorus again, the same meaning The "talk about it" bit means that she feels like she can't tell anyone how she feels, probably because nobody would understand Don't build hope on something broken - her fans should not build hope on her, she is broken I am not cartoon - she is so much more complex than KZbin videos allow her to show, there is so much more to her than doddleoddle Cry for help, I am not joking - she is crying for help, over and over, but she can't believe we actually get what she is trying to tell us. And it is hard to realise that what she talks about is actually happening, even though we watch from a distance I might just leave soon - my first thought was actually that she is suicidal, but I suppose it refers to leaving KZbin as she said she's not suicidal in the description and KZbin fits the song better So, basically the song describes how she wished for being a KZbinr, but it turned out to tear her apart between online and real. So now she is a bit mad at her younger self for making these decisions and underestimating the pressure. Do you agree with my interpretation or have any other ideas?
@kshirin02986 жыл бұрын
I think this interpretation could definitely be what Dodie was thinking about, but it might also have to do with her past abusive relationship (something she's touched on in a previous video). Then again, I don't know how the line "but they love you" could fit with that interpretation. That line mostly does mean that her audience loves her but they can't do much for her.

I'm not gonna lie, this song means something completely different to me than it does to dodie. This song actually brings me great comfort and reassurance -- especially the chorus. When dodie sings the verses it feels like my depression talking, bringing up expectations and sadness from all directions but the chorus helps me remember that people who make my life hard aren't the only ones in my life and they love me and that love isn't fake or for show they're "eyes just like mine" and they go through struggles too, sometimes turning to me for comfort or advice. Overall probably the best song I could listen to when I feel unloved, thanks dodie

My best friend is depressed, and everything I say doesn't help. I've never felt so helpless. Edit (like 2 years later): I'm still getting a lot of replies to this even though I left an update in the replies, so I feel like I need to put one here too. She's doing incredibly well now. I did what I could and all I had to do, which was just be there. We got through it together. Things really do get better. I've had the same thing happen with other friends, and each time has only made me a stronger, more empathetic person. Thank you all so much for all of the kind words and advice, but you should know everything is okay now.

Collietail i’m late but i wanted to give any advice i can. as a depressed person, the best thing for my friends to do is be patient, and stay by my side. they don’t need to be constantly reaching out to me, just an occasional reminder that they are there for me is enough💗 the thing about depression is that it clouds your mind from the good things people say and the help they try to give. just be patient with your friend.
@amermaid84006 жыл бұрын
All the “look at the bright side” “it will get better” “just try harder to be happy” stuff won’t work if he/she is severely depressed. The best thing you can do is just be there for her/him, like literally just sit with them, make some tea, look out so they eat and drink and sleep if you can and maybe most importantly, get them to see a professional if it doesn’t get better soon! They will be able to help them! If he/she doesn’t want to go persuade them and offer to go with them. Best wishes and I hope they will feel happiness soon again. ☀️❤️🌻

I feel like you are singing to me in that massive ass line at Melbourne that seemed like a horror show. It's so hard to connect with so many people one after one and holding all of the pressure of everybody's hopes and dreams to catch a glimpse of you for a moment. You're just a person and it is so very strange that you can love people on KZbin and yet you don't know them. It's not the same. I don't expect you to fulfill my hopes and please my waiting smile, Dodie. Dash them all! An eerily wide passage into your sweet brain, dear. I wrote this in response to someone else who said this made them uncomfortable: I think it's cause it's talking to us. It's about her relationship with her fame and her successes to this point. Thousands of eyes just like mine, were fans just like her. We can love her but there's one of her, so many of us, only so much she can give in return against our numbers. Words only get through if they're sharp, guilt about only thinking about the negative words when there's so much positive. I think it's a perfect metaphor.

Also, I'm sorry that people put you on a pedestal and that you feel pressure to be or look or feel a certain way because of that. Being yourself when you know people are watching is terrifying, and I say that as someone who has never known any actual fame. It's tough to be and exist and act when your career and way of life are tied to what you create and what people think of it. To Dodie: I'm sorry you feel this way, and I'm sure it's hard to know how to keep going on despite it. To her audience: creators- writers, artists, musicians, anyone who makes something with a bit of themselves in it and shows it to the world- are people, just like you. They make mistakes, they aren't perfect, and behind any personas or public faces they create intentionally or unintentionally is someone who is complex and whose life you'll never know in its entirety. Don't assume because of what you know or think about a person you look up to that they're perfect. It isn't good for anyone. Much love, and I hope you find ways to work through this, whatever direction that takes you.

doddleoddle oh my goodness hi! you're so so welcome of course it bothers me a lot when I see people idolize other people because i feel like it prevents both people from growing and learning and it sets unfair expectations for people who are in the public eye. nobody should have to deal with the expectation that they can be perfect to everyone who knows they exist :( again, lots of love and i wish the best for you

It's gotten to that lovely point that most dodie songs reach where I listen to the song so many times, and then I get these lovely lyrics suck in my head at random intervals throughout the day. Today, as I was driving through some rain, and the chorus came into mind, and I 100% did the whole lean-against-car-window-and-fog-up-the-glass-while-singing-as-if-I'm-in-a-music-video thing. dODIE, I will gladly listen to whatever music you choose to put out, and there is no need to apologize for changes made between the KZbin post and the studio recording. It's all part of the process, and the creative decisions are yours to be made.

These lyrics speak to me so much. Everyone interprets a song differently and for me this song is exactly how I am feeling right now. My heart is hurting. I feel so alone. I know I am not. The lyrics explain how I am feeling so much. “He was certain. So was i.” I remember first talking to him. It was amazing. Magical. I had never experienced happiness like that. I miss it. I don’t know what happened. “Be careful be cautious you just wished harder.” It reminds me of when I first started falling in love. Everyone warned me, take it slow. Please don’t rush. We don’t want to see you get hurt. I didn’t move too fast but damn I fell. I wished and wished upon every star I saw. I loved harder than I’d ever felt before. I cared too deeply. “But they love you! over and over “they love you!” It speaks to me in two different ways. I thought that they loved me. They did. At one time. They don’t anymore. But it also speaks to me like all of my friends saying, so many people care for me and some care for me differently. But it will never be the same. I haven’t accepted that yet. No other love will be the same. So many people love me but it’s not the one person I want love from. Why? “Coated and warm but that’s all they can do. Words only get through if they’re sharp.” It speaks to me as it sounds. The lovely words soaked in honey felt good but the bitter sharp words in the end hurt the most. They’re the words I remember. The words I repeat to myself in bed when I’m tossing and turning and trying to sleep. Trying to sleep even though I know they’ll be haunting my dreams with every breath I take. “Oh how fitting for one so fake. Make a fairy whatever it takes.” So fake in the end. I just want things to go back to the way they used to be. Even if it’s a fictional fairy land. “I am burnt out” I’m so tired. So exhausted of feeling this way. I’m happy for a day, an hour, a minute but I’m waiting for the moment where I become sad again and it hits me with the truth and reality that I feel utterly alone. “I cannot talk about it.” I want to speak to somebody. Anybody. My friends. But they all say the same thing. It takes time. I know. I know it does. But why is it taking so long? They don’t understand. They won’t. I hope they never do. This is terrible. I want to stop. “Cry for help. I am not joking. I might just leave soon.” I’m trying. I want help. I really do want to feel better. Why is it so hard? Am I not trying hard enough? I don’t know. This is just how I feel. I’m not saying this is how dodie wrote the song or anything it’s just my interpretation. My opinion.

I kinda feel like this is about her fans a little and how she feels about being so popular? Like where she says "but they love you" and "thousands and thousands of eyes just like mine" is like us and how we relate to Dodie and some of what she's been through? Or When she says "I'm burned out, I smell of smoke" perhaps it anger? And she's been hiding it or keeping it in and it's all slowly seeping through. Or maybe I'm completely wrong and this is kinda just how I relate to the song. Holy crap wait now I'm having an existential crisis
@alexket35817 жыл бұрын
mAyA Rey i felt similarly, you're definitely not alone. "You waited, smiling, for this?" sounds like her doubting her content is good enough for us. Yes it is good enough. It's great. I love it. I love you.

this is definitely part of what the song is about! nevertheless i think "burned out" can also been like a creative burn out, sort of like an artist's block or a writer's block especially after all that dodie has gone through this year!! it's quite a wonderful song ahhh
@SallycrosbyUk7 жыл бұрын
mAyA Rey yes to the beginning bit, but I'm convinced burned out is not anger. Burned out means exhausted both physically and mentally typically. :)

I absolutely love how the words to the verses appear and appear causing a slightly stressful state as the music speeds up, only to end up disappearing at the line "you waited smiling for this". You expected the verses to come to an end and give you relief, but instead, they leave you with a feeling of wanting something more, as if you waited for something that wasn't ever going to happen. The Chorus, on the other hand, leaves you with a feeling of optimism as if everything's going to be great, only to lead back into the stress and disappointment of the chorus. All in all 10/10 song. We love you dodie.

I realize this song is about her audience putting her on a pedestal, and I have to say that sometimes I was guilty of that too, much to my disappointment. They way you put so much emotion in to your songs drew me to you. I've always been a sucker for depth in songs, writing, and any art in general. And because of that and many things I've dealt with in my life, I started to relate to your songs. I thought you were perfect for that, because you found the words I never could. You helped me understand my anxiety more than anyone. And to this day, I still relate to your songs, Dodie. I admire you. I'm fascinated by you. I wish I knew you more than I do. I pray I can learn to play the ukelele and piano as well as you. I'm attached to you, because of how much you've helped me. So maybe I do love you, in a way. But I don't think of myself as a fan, and I no longer think of you as just a wonderful youtuber. I think of you as someone with a good personality, even if that comes with jealousy and anything else you are not proud of. I think you have a good heart, even if its damaged and broken. I think the way your voice has so much power over my heart is just as beautiful as how you sound, even if it cracks and says things it shouldn't sometimes and makes mistakes like any other voice. And I think of myself as a distant friend. A distant friend who males mistakes sometimes, who slips up and falls down and is absolutely in love with your presence even if you aren't aware of mine. I didn't really convey my point and I wonder if I even had one, but I hope you understand this scramble of words if it doesn't quickly get lost in the see of comments under it. But that's okay, I suppose. And whatever decision you make about creating videos and songs and changing them however you want is okay too, because we respect you. But there's a line between respect or admiration, and complete love. I'm sorry if it seems like I didn't understand your point, because I did, I'm just bad at explaining mine. Sorry for this messy and really long comment, too. ♥ (Edit: I'm leaving the typos in in hopes that it will help explain what I meant. And I use the word "love" a lot when I explain how I feel about you as a whole... whoops. I sound like every other confused and worried person now, but I'm not. I'm just bad with words I guess. Ack, I'll stop rambling...)

2:28 those lyrics really resonated with me. It’s like the progression of how I see my issues as I get older, I just started to bottle things up. I’m trying to stop bottling things up but I keep thinking that everyone will just see me as a bother if I tell them my issues, so I don’t. But as of recently I’ve came the closest I ever have to telling someone what’s on my mind. and while I didn’t actually talk, At least I thought that maybe I would, witch is the best I’ve ever done. And while the people around me may not know it, I can feel myself healing. Next step, actually saying something. And I genuinely think that I will sometime this year. 😊

I know what you're talking about :/ I've been the same for a while, and it sucks and just made everything worse for me. I get that you can't just snap out of it and tell people anyway, but please do try to let others know, it's a huge relief. Also I have made the experience that most people actually feel validated by the fact that you trust them enough to tell them. It's not bothering them as you may think. So believe me, it's worth it trying to reach out. I hope you'll manage to recover from what you're dealing with!

Alright dodie said on her snapchat that she liked when people analyzed the lyrics and I haven't stopped listening to the song so I thought I'd do a whole run down So I think the entire song is about wanting to be famous and then once you're there it's a lot harder than expected he was certain (I think this he is either a manager or a producer or something similar certain that say an idea is going to work) so was I there was comfort in her sighs dreams and ideas should not be the same thing You waited smiling for this (you waited smiling to be famous ALSO in dodies book in the chapter about fame when she goes to meet the youtubers and she waited in line to meet them with a smile but it wasn't all it cracked up to be BAM double meaning) oh she’d want it (I think the difference in pov here is past dodie vs present dodie or online dodie vs offline dodie) if she knew (she wanted to be in the spotlight and thought she could take it but now she's not so sure) she could take it, I thought too be careful be cautious but you just wished harder (wished harder to be up there) you waited smiling for this “But they love you!” over and over “they love you!” (this is either a conversation with a friend when dodie may have been like I don't know if I want to do this and the friend is like but they love you or dodie talking to herself telling herself the reasons to keep creating and keep going) thousands and thousands of eyes just like mine aching to find who they are (how dodie use to look to youtube to find herself and now others are looking to her) and they love you! oh you can feel how they love you! coated and warm but that’s all they can do (constant support and love from her audience, they're only going to say nice things) words only get through if they’re sharp (the criticism and hate always sticks in your mind more) Oh how fitting for one so fake make me a fairy whatever it takes (a fairy being a make believe creature and it's fitting that someone fake would want to be that) and just like her tale my dream was a scam (fairies aren't real (they could be) but are just stories told to children to give them something to dream about and wish for but when you get older and find out it isn't real it's a scam just like being famous isn't as glamorous as it seems) Oh you waited smiling for this I am burnt out I smell of smoke it seeps through her cracks and so I start to choke (it's all too much and what only effected her online seeps into her everyday life until it's all too much and she chokes) sentences sit in her mouth that are templated (she's got a script to follow) You waited smiling for this? I can just talk about it maybe I'll talk about it i'll never talk about it i cannot talk about it (self explanatory she wants to talk about it but can't (so instead she writes a song)) don't build hope on something broken i am not cartoon (this line is so powerful to me, a cartoon is perfect and looked over by so many people and perfectly crafted to tell a story but dodies not a cartoon and shes broken (her words not mine) so why would you want to follow her) cry for help i am not joking i might just leave soon. (she might give up on youtube, maybe as a cry for help or to the people who look to her for help (they're crying for help and it's too much for her) anyways that was my breakdown ~ let me know if you agree with my points or want to add things this is such a beautiful song lyrically I've listened to it non stop and it always makes me cry

MY GOD. this might just be my favorite dodie song ever. bold statement, because all of her songs are perfect, but WOW. the thing i like most about her music is it connects with us. it may be for completely different reasons, but that’s the thing. you can interpret it however you’d like! and the chorus oh mYYYY i want to cry every time i hear it. it’s so nostalgic and beautiful and ugghhhhh we are so blessed to be living at the same time as this goddess.

the ending. it's kind of unsettling (I have a feeling that was done on purpose), but there's one thing I notice every time I listen. the slight, small, quiet laugh right at 3:20 the smile right as she sings "I am not joking" this probably means nothing, but to me it's kind of twisted and unsettling... like when you've gotten in a fight and shouted and flung your arms in the air and argued all night and right after when you almost give up on trying to shake the other you laugh quietly as if it's funny that you're still trying to fight with this unshakable person which only fits with the idea that the song is sort of an argument with herself in her head depression, as though it's a real person speaking to her, goes at it asking why her fans will wait for hours, so happy to see her, when... is she really worth it? but she comes back saying how they love her. over and over she hears it. "i love you." "i love your songs." "I love your channel" so much love. it makes her happy. the two battle it out until the end, when one or the other gives up, saying "i might just leave soon." laughing, giving up, questioning why they tried and why they want to continue. my question is, if it is depression vs her... who laughed?

Can I say something? So I have been watching and rewatching this video a bunch. And it finally struck me how hard I would be effected if dodie left KZbin. I have learned so much from dodie, all the songs, the things she says, even her wise words hidings in intros and outros. Dodie is not only gorgeous but has so many deep thoughts. She has changed who I. Am for the better because of her videos no matter if anyone thinks they aren’t perfect. When I subscribed... it was for the real true dodie... the one who wrestles with ideas and thought, who learns from her past mistakes, who is never mean to people or trashes them, who ALWAYS owns her mistakes and is always honest about herself and who inspires people like me to try and become a better person. All that said, I don’t know what I would do if you stopped KZbin. Life is crazy sometimes....it’s comforting to know that someone who I aspire to be like also goes through crazy things and sometimes you know!? Makes mistakes *gasp* cause your fucking human. Because it shows your lovely audience that everyone makes mistakes AND you always handle them so well and it shows how to fix your mistakes. And maybe that didn’t help to think that people (or least me) use u an example, but here’s the deal. Nobody’s perfect, and it’s not your job to be this perfect role model or this perfect artist or crap like that. Because I know that I subscribed for the real dodie. And I can sure as hell bet you that most of the others did too. Idk what I am saying but hopefully you get my point I FUCKING LOVE YOU DODES AND you are great because you are you and don’t let anyone change or hide that!

Sophia Wilson and for me at least, i'd been struggling with what i didn't know was derealisation for years. i heard dodie describe it and it fit what i wasn't truly able to put into words. i went to a therapist and they were like "well, yep, that's pretty much it." (plus a touch of depersonalization thanks to a multitude of surgical scars). it makes me feel less alone in so many things i feel and shows me that even with all the shit pulling me back i have a chance at my dream. idk. dodie has just /helped/ so much in these past few years.

i don't know if it's appropriate, but that's exactly what i felt about christina grimmie (if you don't know her, you should look her up. dodie even did a cover of one of her songs after christina's death). it took me a year to understand she'll never post another cover and no new covers for new amazing songs her family's realising to keep her legacy. i don't know though. it just reminded me of her.

i only found this song recently, but it almost perfectly describes this feeling i’ve had imagine it’s your’s and yours significant other’s anniversary. u out do urself, u buy them flowers, write the most precious note, and tell them u love them for the very first time. everything is perfect. they simply reply with a “thank u, i love u too” but u can tell they don’t mean it. u aren’t bothered to bring up how u feel to them, because everything is too perfect. u realize you’ve built ur love on a person that doesn’t exist. but ur too in love to leave them. they’re ur entire world, but ur not theirs. and u can tell his eyes are for someone else. his friends can tell. ur friends can tell. but ur too blinded by love to believe it. ur entire relationship has been looked at through rose tinted glasses. they were ur one in a million, u were just one among a million.

In the last "don't build hope" bit, it reminds me of trying to talk about the fact that you aren't okay and then retracting your words. The words pop up on the screen and she's singing softly like you're trying to tell someone how you feel and then you just trail off and take back what you said cause you feel like no one is listening until bit by bit, the screen is just Dodie with the words "I might just leave soon" on it. That part just hit me hard after watching this so many times

I have too many favourite parts of this song. The melody of "you waited, smiling for this" then going into the melody of "but they love you". I love it so muuuch. The uncomfortable truth of "words only get through if they're sharp" "don't build hope on something broken" LYRICS AHhh

Yeah I feel like it's about her fan base loving her and her feeling like she's performing for them and not living up to expectations? or feeling like she has to live up to them and can't? either way I think it's about her not feeling like she can be honest because she'll feel ungrateful or disappointing

the first time i listened to this song, i thought it was about a relationship. about a girl who was desperately in love with a boy- waiting and smiling for a person who would make her happy- only to find that they didn't work out. after that, she was in a relationship that didn't make her happy, but all of her friends just spoke about how much they loved the relationship- and how perfect they are together. upon listening to this song quite a bit more over the past few hours, i'm starting to get that this relationship isn't one on one, but it applies to her and her youtube audience. when dodie was little, she dreamed of having a following- and of being famous. but when she got there, she found that she was trying to impress us too much, and that she lost her own creative freedom in the process. but when she tries to talk about it, shes just met with those same words: "but they love you". thats why the chorus sounds so much 'happier' than the rest of the song: it's those empty and sweet words that aren't very truthful, but sound nice to hear. the rest of the song sounds sadder, since it's the unfortunate reality behind it. still, dodie knows that she should feel grateful for this audience, the thousands of people who watch and love her, but in the end they aren't really a good thing. and others aren't letting her express this trouble, because oh god, shes so lucky and 'they love you'. dodie. i'm sending you so much love. speaking for myself, just create things you love. if they aren't polished, thats fine. if they change, thats fine. if you need to take a break, thats fine. take care of yourself. xx
