Definitely a lifestyle for me. Its all about finding the right balance and time to properly care for these wonderful animals. I have two 210's. One south/Central American tank and one African Cichlid Tank. I find these 2 very manageable for me and not overly stressful with maintance. I do want more tanks and more fish but anytime i think about that, i caution myself and reminding myself when i had 9 tanks and it felt like i was doing water changes or something fish related every day. Keep up the good work. Youve got a new sub😎

Recognized splash aquarium when you copped that big shrimp in one of your older Vids. I’m in N.Highlands my self, so I frequent aquirium depot on Auburn blvd. Amazon is also a go to for food,filters,media and such. Pet clubs in Roseville and Rancho are pretty decent on the prices aswel. I have 2 juvenile dovii and 2 juvenile jags in my 150 currently, all is well so far lol.

Keeping fish is the most affordable hobby I’ve had in some time considering the joy it brings me. A fully set up quality 55 gallon stocked tank would cost less than 1 ski season. By far.

lol. As you know, there’s levels to this hobby. Ever heard of polo reef? Check him out if you haven’t. Multimillion dollar system that requires tens of thousands of dollars to upkeep. Yes, a 55g tank would be cheaper than a ski season. I don’t consider skiing a hobby though. It’s a sport. Something you do. Fish keeping is as expensive as you want to make it. To me, it’s living art. The rewarding aspect you feel from putting in work to build something and watch it flourish in the way you intended. It’s by far, the best hobby to be in.

Yup...i got my first tank in 84, been doing some form of it ever since... the house would be dry and dead with out some form of aquaria... the $$$ aspect is up to the situation . when I've been unemployed i went budget now it's an issue of how much time do i want to invest in live plants and nutes.
