Thanks for the reaction. Burton is my favorite artist and this one really kicks. Keep rockin’ C & C! 😊

Quite a nice bopping song. With a bit of a story. Interesting, made to make you think.

Howdy, C ²: This title instantly reminded me of a Guess Who hit called, Follow Your Daughter Home. That one and Life In The Bloodstream came out very close to each other. From what you said, I'm thinking you probably know Burton's Heavenly Blue. This song reminds me of the song he did called Your Back Yard and it was fun. Thank you for doing it.

A bit of piano boogie! His vocals are a little too like Elvis in parts, but you know, Freddie could have sung this soo well! Nice guitar solo. And now that I think about it, this sounds a bit like Shaking Stevens.

What a rally by Norwich with 2 stoppage time goals to secure 3 points 👉

@ I seen that yeah 👍 nearly as good as Washington Commanders beating those damn Cowboys with a TD with 2 secs left on the clock when they could’ve settled for an easy field goal to take it to O/T.. get in there ✊ 👍🏴

This isn't for me, but I'm sure that there will be many people who it is for.

Sometimes this kind of throwback thing works for me, but not often. I always disliked Crazy Little Thing Called Love, by Queen, for example. This is bearable, but has nothing to bring me back for more.

Sorry C n C , never heard of the chap and this style isn’t right up my street - I kept thinking of Shaking Steven’s who used to get RIGHT up my kilt 🤨 👍🏴

Winnipeg born and bred, Burton Cummings was the lead singer and keyboards player with The Guess Who, their biggest hit was "American Woman" in 1970. Another famous member of The Guess Who was Randy Bachman who in 1973 formed Bachman-Turner Overdrive with his late younger brothers, Tim and Robin along with Fred Turner. After disbanding The Guess Who in 1975, Burton Cummings had a successful solo career, especially in Canada and the United States.

Compare with Dave Edmonds doing similar 50's influenced music at this time. He even played once on SCTV for all you Canooks.

Glad the real Guess Who reclaimed the rights to their name from the fraudulent cover band masquerading as them.
