A really easy to make , but delicious to eat recipe for on the trail, that uses just one pot to make, so ideal for the weight conscious back packer or bushcrafter. GO ON - GIVE IT A GO!!

Thanks for the video. For a single day out I use Uncle Bens ready done rice about £1 a bag. Saves the half hour as the rice only needs to be warmed through. Downside is that it is heavier than the packet you used. If eggs are boiled in tea they last a lot longer. This is trick I learned in China. You can buy them on this street cooked this way.

Was when I was in the Army the standard breakfast dish in the Sgts and Officers mess. Though I prefer haddock or salmon in mine
