Excellent video Andy. Ticked all the right boxes for me mate. Bit of shelter building, fire lighting, flint and steel. Log splitting, spit roasting, bannock. Serenity. Beautiful, as always. A 'must watch'. Transports me away from all the madness.

A bit of 'pitsaw' action early on! I enjoyed your showing how a simple shelter needs to be a bit refurbished for later use. I really appreciate my Coffey spit. My Thanks to you and to Simon and to Carlisle 195 for introducing it to us. Opinel offers a neat folding chestnut knife: it seems a good deal safer than using a big belt knife for the task of scoring them.
